Abstract: An endoscope aid 100 to be attachably and detachably attached to a treatment tool insertion channel 23 of an endoscope 2 includes a tubular member 101 capable of being fixed to an outlet portion 25 in a state where the tubular member 101 is fitted inside the outlet portion 25 of the treatment tool insertion channel 23 that is kept in the shape of a straight pipe regardless of bending of a bending part 15 of the endoscope 2. When the tubular member 101 is fixed to the outlet portion 25, a proximal end 101A of the tubular member 101 located on a side opposite to an outlet side of the treatment tool insertion channel 23 is disposed closer to the outlet side of the treatment tool insertion channel 23 than a proximal end 15A of the bending part 15.

Abstract: An endoscope in which an erecting operation mechanism is provided at an operation section and that can prevent an increase in size of a holding part of the operation section is provided. An endoscope according to the present invention includes an operation section 22 having an operation section main body 32, a holding part 34 connected to the operation section main body 32, and an extension part 36 extending from the holding part 34 toward a distal end side; an insertion section 24 provided on a distal end side of the extension part 36; an erecting base 30 provided at a distal end part 26 of the insertion section 24; a movable member 96 that is provided at the extension part 36 and that moves in association with an operation of an erecting operation lever 20; a wire 60 that is coupled to the erecting base 30 at a distal end side thereof, that is coupled to the movable member 96 at a proximal end side thereof, and that is pushed/pulled by the movable member 96; and an attachment member 98 that is provided at a proximal end of the wire 60 and that is engaged with the movable member 96 in an attachable/detachable manner by a one-touch operation.

Abstract: An endoscope includes an insertion part that includes a distal end and a proximal end, a distal-end-portion body that is provided on a distal end side of the insertion part, and an ultrasound transducer that is provided on a distal end side of the distal-end-portion body. The distal-end-portion body includes a pair of walls, a standing base that is disposed in a space formed by the pair of walls and connected to a treatment tool outlet, an observation window that is disposed on one wall of the pair of walls, and a nozzle that is provided on the flat surface opposite to the space across the observation window and ejects washing water to the observation window. The wall surface of the other wall of the pair of walls is positioned on an extension of an ejection direction of the washing water to be ejected from the nozzle.

Abstract: A flexible tube for an endoscope includes a flexible tube base, an outer coating layer including a soft resin layer and a hard resin layer, a ratio changing portion, and a tapered portion. In the ratio changing portion, a percentage of a thickness of the hard resin layer decreases and a percentage of a thickness of the soft resin layer increases toward a distal side from a proximal side of the base. In the tapered portion, a ratio between the thickness of the hard resin layer and the thickness of the soft resin layer is maintained, which ratio is the same as that at a position in the ratio changing portion where the percentage of the thickness of the hard resin layer is a lower limit. In the tapered position, an outer diameter of the outer coating layer decreases toward a distal end of the flexible tube base.
