Abstract:
A system includes power harvesting circuitry in combination with energy storage and conversion circuitry. The power harvesting circuitry may be configured to respond to energy generated by rotary machinery having at least condition being monitored by at least one component having at least one electronic circuit, and provide harvested power. The energy storage and conversion circuitry may be configured to respond to the harvested power provided from the power harvesting circuitry, and provide stored and converted power to the at least one component for monitoring the least one condition of the rotary machinery.
Abstract:
A wirelessly powered system includes a wirelessly powered combination isolation valve and check valve for a hydronic system, having a positive shut-off isolation valve configured in the hydronic system to prevent fluid flow, including to allow for maintenance of the hydronic system, a check valve configured in the hydronic system to prevent backflow and gravity circulation which can harm the hydronic system, and a combination of one or more sensors configured to sense a corresponding combination of one or more pressure, temperature or flow measurements of the fluid flow in the hydronic system and provide sensor signaling containing information about the corresponding combination of the one or more pressure, temperature or flow measurements sensed of the fluid flow in the hydronic system; and an onboard wireless power receiver configured to receive wireless power signaling, and provide power to energize the combination of the one or more sensors.
Abstract:
A combination valve includes an isolation shutoff valve to prevent a fluid flow; a check valve to prevent backflow and gravity circulation of fluid flow; a pressure sensor to sense a pressure measurement of fluid flow and determine pressure sensor signaling containing information about a sensed pressure measurement; a temperature sensor to sense a temperature measurement of fluid flow and determine temperature sensor signaling containing information about a sensed temperature measurement; and a flow measurement sensor to sense a flow measurement of fluid flow and determine flow measurement signaling containing information about a sensed flow measurement. The pressure sensor, temperature sensor and flow measurement sensor are all embedded and preassembled in the combination valve with the isolation shutoff valve and the check valve as part of one integral composite unit or component, so as to form a combination isolation valve and check valve with integral flow rate, pressure and/or temperature measurement.
