Abstract: A system and method for estimation method for determining a location of a vehicle digital key wallet includes selecting, by a user, whether to store a digital key wallet in a cloud storage or within a secure telematics unit contained within a vehicle. The digital key wallet is used to initiate an event within the vehicle. A backoffice server stores data including a radio intelligence database and a rule-based vehicle pattern matrix. The digital key wallet is switched to a fallback device based on the status of a communication link with the secure telematics unit, the radio intelligence database, and the rule-based vehicle pattern matrix.

Abstract: A method and system of resilient UWB target localization for a vehicle are provided. The system comprises a UWB tag arranged to be mobile and trackable by way of a sensor signal and at least three UWB anchors. Each anchor is in communication with the tag. The system further comprises a gateway in communication with the anchors. The gateway comprises an ECU arranged to receive sensor signals from UWB anchors. The ECU comprises a preprocessing module, a clustering module, and a Bayesian module. The preprocessing module is arranged to align sensor signals at an aligned timestamp to define aligned data. The clustering module is arranged to cluster points of intersections, defining a sensed location for each cluster. The Bayesian module is arranged to determine a real-time location of the tag based on a Bayesian probability function to match the sensed location with a predicted location of the tag.

Abstract: Systems and methods of diagnosing sensor performance of an ultra wide band (UWB) sensor localization for a vehicle are provided. The method comprises receiving sensor signals from at least four UWB anchors and a UWB tag for a time period. The sensor signals represent anchor coordinates and real-time distances between the tag and each anchor. The method comprises aligning the sensor signals to define aligned data. The method comprises calculating a predicted location of the UWB tag based on the aligned data and a least square of error to define a first constructed matrix and a second constructed matrix. The method comprises determining a local error of each of the at least four UWB anchors based on the least square of error and comparing each local error with an error threshold to define a first threshold high. The method comprises determining an erratic anchor based on the first threshold high.

Abstract: A vehicle system, for implementation at a subject vehicle, including a vehicle storage component having a device-discovery module that, when executed by a vehicle processing unit, determines, using vehicle communication hardware, presence of non-subject-vehicle devices. The technology may include simply the storage device having any mentioned module, and processes performed.

Abstract: A system for providing updates in a vehicle includes a server device configured for providing an OTA campaign update and the vehicle. The vehicle includes a device including software to be upgraded by the over-the-air campaign update and a low voltage battery providing low voltage power. The system further includes a battery providing high voltage power and an accessory power module configured to transform the high voltage power into low voltage power and including programming to estimate an available power of the low voltage battery. The system further includes a controller monitoring the available power, comparing the available power to a threshold, and, when the available power is less than the threshold, commanding the accessory power module to transform the high voltage power to provide the low voltage electrical power. The controller further schedules receiving the update based upon the available power and updates the device with the update.

Abstract: A digital key sharing system includes an electronic circuit and a first server computer. The electronic circuit is configured to store a plurality of digital keys, receive a plurality of key sharing requests, and generate a plurality of features in response to the plurality of key sharing requests. The first server computer is in wireless communication with the electronic circuit and is configured to generate an alert signal in response to finding one or more anomalies in the plurality of features to initiate a notification to a primary user device associated with the electronic circuit, and send a suspend notification signal to the electronic circuit in response to the finding of the one or more anomalies in the plurality of features. The electronic circuit is further configured to suspend use of the plurality of digital keys in response to reception of the suspend notification signal.
