Abstract:
The invention refers to a convertible car seat (1) that can take on various configurations such as seat, shelf, document case and flat, comprising: a seat (2) and a backrest (3); a support made up of two frames (6), the sides of which are made up of rigid elements (8, 9, 10, 11, 8′, 9′, 10′, 11′) connected to each other by means of joints (A12, A13, A14, A15) placed on each of their ends on an axle (12, 13, 14, 15) in such a way that the support can be folded in the manner of a foldable quadrilateral, in which at least one of the joints (A12, A13, A14, A15) is lockable, the seat (2) is mounted lockably connected to the third axle (14), arms (16) are placed on either side of the seat, the backrest (3) is mounted on one end (18) of the aforementioned arms (16) by means of at least one lockable joint (19). The invention also relates to a vehicle that includes at least one such seat and a method for transforming such a seat.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a safety device used in case a vehicle rolls over, said safety device comprising at least two curved bars (1, 1′), each curved bar having a first end and a second end, a first portion of the bar extending from the first end (5), and a second portion (7) of the bar extending from the second end (8), which second portion is substantially rectilinear, and the device further comprising two guide boxes (10), each box being provided with an elongate orifice (18) for receiving said second portion (7), said orifice (18) extending substantially transversely relative to said second portion (7), said box being designed to be secured to a structural portion of the vehicle. The invention also relates to a vehicle including such a device, and to a method for assembling said vehicle.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a control device for a convertible vehicle roof comprising several rear (1), intermediary (2) and front (3) rigid roof elements which can be moved between a closed position and a storage position. Said rear (1), intermediary (2) and front (3) elements are connected to each other and to the body in such a way as to pivot around three fulcrum pins (A1, A2, A3). The inventive device comprises co-ordinating means (5, 6, 7, 8) which are used to co-ordinate the pivot movements around said pins (A1, A2, A3). The invention is characterised in that the co-ordinating means (5, 6, 7, 8) are disposed such that the combined movement thereof enables the intermediary element (2) to be inclined at a greater angle when said element is in the highest position thereof.
Abstract:
The system comprises at least a first front roof element hinged relative to the rear roof element and a controller for pivoting of the first front roof element relative to the rear roof element. A guide arrangement for guiding the rear roof element and the controller for controlling the first front roof element are arranged in such a manner as to guide the first front roof element along a predetermined path to a retracted position in which the first front roof element is stowed in a substantially vertical position behind the back seat of the vehicle.
Abstract:
The front second panel is connected to the rear first panel via two sets of substantially parallel front and rear auxiliary pivot arms each hinged at its rear end to a respective rear hinge point fixed to the rear first panel and at its front end to a respective front hinge point fixed to the front second panel. The roof system has mechanisms for causing the two sets of auxiliary arms to pivot in one direction or the other in order to open or close the roof system, and the two auxiliary arms in a given set are arranged in such a manner as to be situated transversely on the outside of the roof panels.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a device for connecting in flight an aircraft to a refuelling device of a tanker aeroplane. The invention is characterized in that the support structure (9) carrying the hollow connecting boom fixed to the fuselage structure (5) of said aircraft, comprises: a tubular cylindrical body (15) with internal passage at least two parallel bearings (20, 21) carrying said cylindrical body (15) and fixed to said fuselage structure; and an element (22) longitudinally locking said cylindrical body (115) along its longitudinal axis, associating said body to said fuselage structure.
Abstract:
Close to its front inner corner, each side plate is provided with an extension extending transversely inwards under the central plate and carrying a pivot member adapted to co-operate with a coaxial complementary pivot member fixed under the central plate, and in that each side plate is mounted to pivot about an axis that is common to the two pivot members, which axis is substantially perpendicular to the top surface of the central plate and arranged such that, in the pivoted position, each side plate is stowed substantially under the central plate. The system further advantageously comprising a device for causing each side plate to pivot relative to the central plate while the central plate is pivoting.
Abstract:
A convertible vehicle having a movable roof is fitted with a passenger compartment canopy that has an air permeable structure. This vehicle, whose roof, such as a foldaway rigid roof, hard-top or soft-top, is movable in relation to its structure, comprises releasable connections interposed between the structure of the vehicle and the canopy, so that when the movable roof is placed at least partially at a distance from a position above the passenger compartment, the canopy is arranged in a movable or removable manner above this compartment.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a vehicle with a removable top, comprising a stowable rigid roof that is provided with a forward roof element (15) and a rear roof element (17), a stowing space for the roof, which is located between the seats and the rear hood of the vehicle, first displacement means (35) for moving the roof elements side by side when the roof is opened, and second pivoting means (37, 43, 47) for displacing the roof elements by pivoting said roof elements between the closed state of the roof in which the elements are arranged in a substantially horizontal direction and the open state of the roof in which the elements are disposed in an essentially vertical direction within the stowing space. The movements to which the roof is subjected are coordinated such that the forward roof element (15) moves underneath the rear element until being positioned next to said rear element while the pivoting means pivot the rear element and simultaneously entrain the forward element with the aid of the displacement means (35), said pivoting means being connected exclusively to the rear roof element (17) on one side and to the chassis frame (21) of the vehicle on the other side.
Abstract:
The package shelf (3) comprises sliders (47) which are moveable in relation to the frame (46) of the vehicle, a shelf (48) which can move along two tracks (46) which are fixed to the frame (45) and along the sliders (47), and driving means whereby a first part thereof is fixed to the shelf (48) and the second part thereof cooperates with the first part and is fixed to the sliders (47). The arrangement of the shelf (48), sliders (47), tracks (46), frame (45) and driving means, which are mounted independently from the frame (45), enable the shelf (48) to be displaced in relation to the latter.
