摘要： An imaging member comprised of a supporting substrate, a photogenerating layer comprised of a titanyl phthalocyanine of the type selected from the group consisting of Type IV, Type X, Type Z-1, and Type Z-2, prepared by the process which comprises dissolving a titanyl phthalocyanine in a solution of trifluoroacetic acid and methylene chloride; adding the resultant solution to a solvent or solvent mixture that will enable precipitation; and separating the product titanyl phthalocyanine from the solution followed by an optional washing, and a charge transport layer.

摘要： Disclosed are various titanyl phthalocyanine polymorphs such as Type I, Type II, Type III, Type IV, Type Z-1, Type Z-2, and Type X, which phthalocyanines can be prepared by dissolving a titanyl phthalocyanine in a solution of trifluoroacetic acid and a chlorinated hydrocarbon. There is then added to the resulting solution a solvent that will enable precipitation of the titanyl phthalocyanine. Subsequently, the titanyl phthalocyanine product can be separated from the solution by, for example, filtration and the product titanyl phthalocyanine obtained can be washed to remove any residual solvent.

摘要： A process for printing a metal wire pattern on a substrate, including: printing a first salt solution including a metal ion that will undergo a reduction half-reaction; printing a second salt solution containing a reductant that will undergo an oxidation half-reaction in contact with the first salt solution, resulting in the reduction of the metal ions of the first salt solution; and allowing the first and second salt solutions to react by a galvanic reaction, causing reduced metal ions of the first salt solution to precipitate as a solid, on the substrate.

In embodiments, the toners are invisible when viewed under natural light, but possess a fluorescent agent that renders them visible when exposed to UV light of a specific wavelength. In other embodiments the toners have a color under natural light, and a different color when exposed to UV light.
