Abstract: A video edit may include one or more segment of a video. A graphical user interface may convey information that indicates video editing decisions made to generate the video edit. The graphical user interface may include a timeline element to represent the length of the video and one or more inclusion elements to visually indicate the segment(s) of the video included in the video edit. The graphical user interface may convey information on the segment(s) of the video that have been automatically included in the video edit and the segment(s) of the video that have been manually included in the video edit.

Abstract: A graphical user interface for trimming a video may include a timeline representation of a duration of the video. A trim duration for the video may be selected based on movement of the timeline representation. The amount of time represented by a portion of the timeline representation may be independent of the duration of the video. The movement of the timeline representation may correspond to moment through the duration of the video at a constant scale regardless of the duration of the video.
