    Abstract: Examples disclosed herein provide the ability for a computing device to configure one microphone at a time from physically colocated devices to remain active for participating in a teleconference. In one example method, the computing device determines whether a first device with a first microphone on the teleconference is physically colocated with respect to a second device with a second microphone on the teleconference. When the first and second devices are physically colocated with respect to each other, the computing device configures either the first or second microphone to remain active for participating in the teleconference while the other of the first or second microphone is to be muted.

    Abstract: Examples disclosed herein provide the ability for a computing device to determine a noise threshold to wake on ambient noises. In one example method, the computing device tracks sound, detected by a microphone of the computing device, over a period of time and, based on the sound tracked over the period of time, determines a noise threshold. The computing device tunes a sensitivity of the microphone to wake the computing device when ambient noise, detected by the microphone, is to have a signal strength equal to or exceeding the noise threshold.

    Abstract: In an example implementation according to aspects of the present disclosure, a method may include establishing, by a host computing system, a secure connection to a user computing system via a wireless network, wherein the host computing system and the user computing system are in physical proximity to each other. The example method further includes providing, by a host computing system, an operating system session to the user computing system through the secure connection while the host computing system and the user computing system remain in physical proximity to each other. The example method also includes providing, by a host computing system, data associated with a user of the user computing system to the user computing system via the operating system session through the secure connection, wherein the data associated with the user of the user computing device is stored in a data store of the host computing system.

    Abstract: Example implementations disclosed herein can be used to generate a local sound signal corresponding to utterances of a user and other sounds detected by a microphone array coupled to a communication device and to condition the local sound signals to separate the utterances of the user from the other sounds to generate a conditioned sound signal. The conditioned sound signals are evaluated to generate a local quality score for the conditioned sound signals, and when the local quality score of the conditioned sound signals is below a threshold associated with the communication device, a local feedback message indicating a local user position change can be generated. The local feedback message can include instructions for the user to move to another location to improve the quality of the condition sound signals.
