The present invention provides a system for manufacturing a therapeutic microneedle configured to regulate an air environment within a coating chamber for manufacturing a therapeutic microneedle by coating a microneedle with a coating liquid containing a drug, the system for manufacturing a therapeutic microneedle comprising an air compressor, a humidity regulator configured to regulate humidity of air supplied from the air compressor, and an air filter configured to eliminate microorganisms from air to be supplied to the inside of the coating chamber.

A microneedle sheet according to one embodiment includes: a sheet body having a main surface; and at least one microneedle formed on the sheet body and lying along the main surface. Each of the at least one microneedle has a base positioned on a first side of the sheet body and a tip oriented toward a second side of the sheet body that is opposite to the first side. A first portion of the sheet body is bent from the first side, whereby the microneedle positioned in the first portion is raised from the main surface and the raised microneedle is applied to skin.

A method for producing a microneedle device having a coating on the microneedles comprises a step A of drying a precursor composition containing a biologically active substance and a first solvent to obtain -a freeze-dried composition, a step B of mixing the freeze-dried composition with a second solvent to obtain a coating composition, and a step C of applying the coating composition to the microneedles and drying the same, wherein the precursor composition further contains a thickener, or a thickener is added when the freeze-dried composition and the second solvent are mixed.

A microneedle sheet according to an embodiment comprises a plurality of microneedles formed on a sheet substantially along a principal surface of the sheet. The sheet is bent to raise the microneedles from the principal surface, and the raised microneedles pierce a skin.
