Abstract: A polymerizable composition for optical components, which can prevent the occurrence of coloring while keeping the required strength for optical components when an optical component is produced using the polymerizable composition for optical components. The polymerizable composition for optical components according to the present embodiment includes a polyisocyanate compound (A) and a polythiol compound (B1) and has an equivalent ratio (A/B1) of 80/100 to 95/100, wherein the equivalent ratio (A/B1) represents a ratio of an equivalent A of the polyisocyanate compound (A) calculated using the molecular weight and the functional group number of the polyisocyanate compound (A) to an equivalent B1 of the polythiol compound (B1) calculated using the molecular weight and the functional group number of the polythiol compound (B1).
