摘要: A three-component polyurethane composition consisting of a first, a second and a third component, the first component containing a polyol having an OH functionality in the range from 1.5 to 4 and an average molecular weight in the range from 250 to 15000 g/mol and a compound having at least one thiol group, the second component containing at least one metal catalyst for the reaction of hydroxyl groups and isocyanate groups, which can form thiol complexes and preferably has a drying agent, and the third component containing at least one polyisocyanate, the molar ratio of all thiol groups of the compound to all metal atoms of the metal catalyst being between 1:1 and 250:1.

摘要: The present disclosure provides an orthodontic article including the reaction product of the polymerizable composition. Further, the present disclosure provides polymerizable compositions and methods of making an orthodontic article. The method includes obtaining a polymerizable composition and selectively curing the polymerizable composition to form an orthodontic article. Further, methods are provided, including receiving, by a manufacturing device having one or more processors, a digital object comprising data specifying an orthodontic article; and generating, with the manufacturing device by an additive manufacturing process, the orthodontic article based on the digital object. A system is also provided, including a display that displays a 3D model of an orthodontic article; and one or more processors that, in response to the 3D model selected by a user, cause a 3D printer to create a physical object of an orthodontic article.

The preparation method for the polyurethane optical resin comprises: a raw material composition comprising isocyanate and a polythiol compound undergoes a polymerization to produce the polyurethane optical resin. The turbidity value of the isocyanate used in the raw material composition is controlled at ≤2 NTU. The polyurethane optical resin produced is applicable in manufacturing optical products.

摘要: One embodiment relates to a polymerizable composition and an optical material produced therefrom which has excellent lightfastness and minimized color defects, and more specifically, the polymerizable composition according to one embodiment includes UV absorbers having, as the main absorption wavelength, either a long-wavelength region or a short-Wavelength region Within the UV region, wherein the UV absorbers do not absorb in the Visible light region. Accordingly, the polymerizable composition may be used to provide an optical material having excellent lightfastness and minimized color defects.

摘要: A method of producing an optical material, which comprises a step of preparing a polymerizable composition containing a polythiol composition and a polyiso(thio)cyanate compound; a determination step which comprises measuring a content of a solvent A which is at least one selected from the group consisting of toluene, acetone, and N,N-dimethylformamide, in the polymerizable composition to check whether the content of the solvent A is within a range of from 0.10% by mass to 1.70% by mass, and, in a case in which the content of the solvent A is within a range of from 0.10% by mass to 1.70% by mass, determining the polymerizable composition as a polymerizable composition for an optical material; and a step of injecting the polymerizable composition for an optical material into a mold for resin molding and curing the same, thereby obtaining an optical material as a resin-molded product.

摘要: A method of making an isocyanurate polymer is disclosed. An isocyanate including at least one of an aromatic isocyanate and an aliphatic isocyanate is provided. A trimerization catalyst including at least one of an amine catalyst, an organometallic compound, and an imidazole compound is provided. A reaction mixture that is substantially free of reactive hydrogen is formed by mixing less than about twenty percent by total weight of said reaction mixture of an epoxide with said isocyanate. The trimerization catalyst is mixed with the reaction mixture. The reaction mixture is cured to produce a polymer composition including a reaction product of two or more isocyanates.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for producing a multi-layer coating structure, comprising the following steps: a) providing a substrate; b) applying at least one base-coat layer, wherein the base-coat layer is substantially free of melamine and derivatives thereof; c) applying at least one clear-coat and/or top-coat layer, comprising at least one polyisocyanate, at least one NCO-reactive compound, and at least one thermally latent catalyst; d) waiting for at least 30 s after step c) such that a film can form; e) curing the multi-layer coating structure while supplying heat. The invention further relates to the multi-layer coating structure that can be obtained from the method according to the invention, to the use of the multi-layer coating structure to coat substrates, and to substrates coated with the multi-layer coating structure.
