Abstract: This application provides a communication method and an apparatus. A terminal device receives a first indication information from a network device, where the first indication information indicates a first parameter combination including at least two of the following: a first value of Mv, a first value of β, and a first value of α. The first parameter combination is for determining that a first coefficient matrix to be indicated by the terminal device includes a maximum of K0 non-zero elements, and K0 is determined based on the first values of Mv, β, and α. Abstract: This application provides a UCI sending and receiving method and a communications apparatus. In the method, an association relationship between a PUCCH and a PUSCH is established, so that when resources of the PUSCH and the PUCCH overlap, a terminal device can determine UCI on which PUCCHs can be transmitted by multiplexing the resource of the PUSCH. A network device may receive the UCI on the PUSCH. Because the network device may know in advance which PUCCHs and PUSCHs are sent to the network device, the network device can demodulate and decode a signal on the received PUSCHs, to successfully obtain UCI. The network device can make a proper decision based on the UCI.

Abstract: This application provides a Demodulation Reference Signal (DMRS) transmission method and a communications device. The method includes: determining, by a communications device, a current mode of a resource scheduling unit, where the current mode is a frequency hopping mode or an aggregation mode, and performing, by the communications device, DMRS mapping or demapping by using a DMRS pattern corresponding to the current mode, where a location of a symbol occupied by a DMRS in the DMRS pattern corresponding to the current mode is different from a location of a symbol occupied by a DMRS in a preset DMRS pattern. In embodiments of this application, a location of a symbol occupied by a DMRS can be flexibly selected depending on different modes. Therefore, requirements of the different modes can be satisfied in the embodiments of this application, thereby improving network performance.

Abstract: This application provides a technical solution for rank indication, and especially when a CQI number is not configured or a CQI number is 1, a network device configures a rank indication restriction parameter as that at least one of ranks whose index numbers are 0, 1, 2, and 3 is allowed to be reported by the terminal device; or even if the network device does not perform the foregoing configuration, and none of the ranks whose index numbers are 0, 1, 2, and 3 is allowed to be reported, the terminal device may select at least one rank for RI reporting, so as to resolve a problem that a system cannot work. In addition, according to embodiments of this application, bit overheads required for RI reporting may further be reduced.

The method includes: A terminal device receives downlink control information sent by a network device. The downlink control information is for triggering N pieces of CSI reporting. The N pieces of CSI reporting are in a one-to-one correspondence with N pieces of CSI reporting configuration information indicated by the downlink control information. The N pieces of CSI reporting configuration information are different from each other, where N is a positive integer greater than 1. The terminal device performs the N pieces of CSI reporting based on the N pieces of CSI reporting configuration information. In the communication method provided in this application, one piece of downlink control information simultaneously triggers a plurality of different pieces of CSI reporting.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provides a channel information feedback method and a communication apparatus. In the method, first information and a strongest coefficient indicator (SCI) have a same priority in uplink control information (UCI) sent by a terminal device. The first information indicates a second frequency domain discrete Fourier transform (DFT) vector set selected by the terminal device, and the SCI indicates a space-frequency vector corresponding to a strongest coefficient in a first space-frequency vector set corresponding to the second frequency domain DFT vector set and channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) ports selected by the terminal device. In other words, the SCI indicates the space-frequency vector that corresponds to the second frequency domain DFT vector set selected by the terminal device and that corresponds to the strongest coefficient.
