The present invention provides a method, an apparatus, and a system for synchronization between base stations. The method for synchronization between base stations includes: A first base station receives synchronization information sent by a user equipment, where the first base station is a serving base station of the user equipment; and the first base station adjusts a downlink sending time point and an uplink receiving time point of the first base station according to the synchronization information, so as to keep consistency between the downlink sending time point of the first base station and a downlink sending time point of a second base station that serves as a synchronization time reference and keep consistency between the uplink receiving time point of the first base station and an uplink receiving time point of the second base station.

A method for configuring a cell includes the following steps. A network node obtains information for configuring serviceless Multicast Broadcast Single Frequency Network (MBSFN) sub-frames of a first cell; and the network node configures serviceless MBSFN sub-frames of a neighboring cell of the first cell by alternating the serviceless MBSFN sub-frames of the neighboring cell with the serviceless MBSFN sub-frames of the first cell according to the information for configuring the serviceless MB SFN sub-frames of the first cell. In the method for configuring the first cell, the serviceless MBSFN sub-frames of the neighboring cell alternate with the serviceless MBSFN sub-frames of the first cell, thereby reducing interference between cells and improving stability of the system.

A method for measuring an aggregated carrier cell includes the following content. A user equipment receives measurement configuration information of an aggregated carrier cell from a serving base station, where the measurement configuration information includes signal estimation value information and a corresponding measurement period thereof; the user equipment obtains a measurement period of a non-active component carrier according to a signal estimation value of the non-active component carrier in the aggregated carrier cell and the measurement configuration information; and the user equipment measures the non-active component carrier according to the measurement period. With the method of the present invention, the user equipment can measure different component carriers in an aggregated carrier cell in different periods.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for processing a fault in a multi-operator core network are disclosed. The method is applied to a first base station, where multiple operators share a network within coverage of the first base station, and the method includes: acquiring an identifier of a faulty operator, where the faulty operator is an operator whose network is faulty within coverage of the first base station; and notifying UE served by the first base station of the identifier of the faulty operator by using a specified message, so that the UE served by the first base station no longer accesses the network of the faulty operator within coverage of the first base station.

Embodiments of the present invention relate to a charging method and device. The method includes: obtaining, by a radio access device located in an access network, first information, where the first information includes or is used to indicate a type of service data borne on a radio interface of the radio access device and a type of the radio interface; and sending, by the radio access device, the first information to a charging network element located in a core network, so that the charging network element performs charging by using the first information. The method provided in the embodiments of the present invention can implement service data charging without requiring a wireless local area network access gateway, thereby simplifying a communication process between network elements and reducing management costs of a network.

A method for configuring a cell is provided. Configuration information of a first cell is obtained, wherein the configuration information comprises position information of one or more multicast broadcast single frequency network (MBSFN) sub-frames in a radio frame of the first cell. A radio frame of a second cell is configured according to the configuration information of the first cell. In the method for configuring the cell, interference between the first cell and the second cell is reduced.

The present invention is applicable to the field of communications and specifically provides a method for determining a cell handover. The method includes: receiving related information of a handed-over UE that is sent by a source base station when the source base station initiates a handover operation; and determining, according to the related information of the handed-over UE, whether to hand over the handed-over UE back to a source cell of the source base station, where the related information of the handed-over UE at least includes a handover cause reference value of the UE in the source cell. The technical solutions provided in the present invention have an advantage of avoiding back-and-forth Ping Pong handovers between a source cell of a source base station and a target cell of a target base station.

The present invention provides a communication method. The method includes: determining, by a first base station serving a first cell, a position of an almost blank subframe and transmission power of the almost blank subframe according to obtained adjustment information about a second cell of a second base station; and determining a frame structure for the second cell according to the adjustment information, the position of the almost blank subframe, and the transmission power of the almost blank subframe. The present invention further provides a base station and a terminal device. With the present invention, transmission power of each almost blank subframe may be adaptively adjusted according to the adjustment information about the second cell, so that interference between the first cell and the second cell is reduced.
