Abstract: An emergency start method for a fuel cell-powered vehicle includes starting the vehicle and detecting an abnormal state of a power supply system of an air blower upon the start of the vehicle. If the power supply system of the air blower is in the abnormal state, an air-check valve of a fuel cell opens. Hydrogen is supplied to the fuel cell, and the air blower operates with power generated from the fuel cell and an emergency start system.

Abstract: A method for synchronizing voltages of a fuel cell vehicle may synchronize the voltages of high voltage components in real time regardless of the completion of vehicle start-up in order to improve performance and control precision within a full range of operable voltages. The method includes a default voltage synchronization step in which, when the fuel cell vehicle starts, the voltages of the high voltage components are corrected based on an offset value, stored in advance in multiple auxiliary controllers for controlling the high voltage components, and the corrected voltages are further corrected according to a default voltage synchronization command of a main controller; and a real-time voltage synchronization step in which, after the default voltage synchronization step, the main controller transmits a target offset value to the auxiliary controllers, and the auxiliary controllers correct the voltages based on the target offset value.

Abstract: A system and method for controlling power of a fuel cell for a vehicle are provided. The method includes measuring a temperature of the fuel cell and when the measured temperature of the fuel cell is within a high temperature range in which a power threshold value of the fuel cell is reduced based on an increase in temperature of the fuel cell and when the measured temperature of the fuel cell is increased and then is equal to or greater than a predetermined temperature a power threshold value is reduced from a power value at the predetermined temperature. Abstract: A restarting system, a controller, and a restarting method for a fuel cell vehicle are provided. The restarting system includes a consumption resistor connected in parallel to a high voltage line that connects between a fuel cell and a high voltage battery and a relay that adjusts the connection between the consumption resistor and the high voltage line. A controller operates the relay and when a shutdown request signal of the vehicle is input, charges the high voltage battery with residual generated power of the fuel cell or connects the relay to the consumption resistor to consume the residual generated power as the consumption resistance. When a starting request signal of the vehicle is input, the controller is reset when an output voltage of the fuel cell is reduced to be equal to or less than a required voltage and then output a starting permission signal of the vehicle.

The apparatus for diagnosing failure of an air supply system of a fuel cell system includes a flow rate sensor installed in an air supply line and configured to measure an air flow rate, a power sensor configured to measure power consumed for driving an air blower, and a controller electrically connected to the flow rate sensor and the power sensor and configured to determine whether the air supply system has a fault by using the air flow rate measured by the flow rate sensor and the power consumption measured by the power sensor.
