摘要: The present invention allows usable information to be selected by comparing information regarding encoding with conditions regarding encoding processing. When delay modes, picture structures, and pulldown modes do not match each other between previous encoding time and re-encoding time, parameters are not reused. When they match and image frames do not match, a picture type is reused. When a bit rate in the previous encoding is smaller than that in the current encoding and a chroma format is larger than the current chroma format, a picture type and a motion vector are reused. When the conditions are not satisfied, parameters are supplied and received and a determination is made as to whether or not chroma formats match each other. When the chroma formats do not match each other, picture-type information, motion-vector information, and quantization-value information are reused. When the chroma formats match each other, stream data input to a decoding unit is output. The present invention can be applied to an encoding unit, an encoding device, or a transcoder.

摘要: The present invention can code an I-picture that satisfies a predetermined condition using parameter information. When it is determined at step S1 that a picture type is the I-picture, it is determined at step S2 whether or not the phase of a macro block in previous coding agrees with that of the macro block of present coding. When the phases of the macro blocks agree with each other, it is determined at step S3 whether or not amount of generated code in a unit of picture in decoding≦target amount of code×α is satisfied. When the condition is satisfied, it is determined at step S4 whether or not an image frame of previous coding is the same as that of previous coding. When the image frames are not the same, the information of a picture type, motion vector, and a quantized value included in the parameter information is reused, whereas when the image frames are the same, the stream data input to a decoder is output. When the above condition is not satisfied, the parameters are not reused. The present invention can be applied to a coder, a coding apparatus, an information recording apparatus, an information reproducing apparatus, or a transcoder.

摘要: This invention provides a process for producing a crystallized polyester resin molding. The process includes melting and injecting the below-described first or second compound (a) or (b) into a mold and holding the same in the mold, and then conducting cooling to crystallize a polyester resin of a resulting molding without using an inorganic nucleating agent: (a) a first compound of a crystallization-inducing crosslinked polyester resin, in at least a portion of which crosslinked points have been formed with a crosslink forming agent, and a first non-crosslinked polyester resin; or (b) a second compound of a crystallization-inducing master batch, which comprises the crosslinked polyester resin and a second non-crosslinked polyester resin and abundantly contains the crosslinked polyester resin, and the first non-crosslinked polyester resin. According to the present invention, a crystallized polyester resin molding free from impairment of translucency or transparency can be produced without using an inorganic nucleating agent that would produce haze in the molding.

摘要: A coding apparatus and method is disclosed by which quantization index data can be determined without referring to a virtual buffer capacity initialized in response to a scene change. ME residual information is acquired first, and it is discriminated whether or not the ME residual information is higher than a threshold value. If it is discriminated that the ME residual information is higher than the threshold value, then the initial buffer capacity of a virtual buffer is updated. On the other hand, if it is discriminated that the ME residual information is equal to or lower than the threshold value, then it is discriminated whether or not the picture being currently processed is a picture next to a scene change or is a next picture of the same type as that of a picture with which a scene change has occurred. If it is discriminated that the picture being processed is a picture next to a scene change or a next picture of the same type, then the initial buffer capacity is calculated and updated. Further, an average value of the ME residual information is updated. The invention can be applied to a video encoder.

摘要: A screw compressor includes a screw rotor, a gate rotor, a drive mechanism to rotate the screw rotor, a cylinder, a discharge port and an adjustment mechanism. The screw rotor has an outer periphery with a helical groove engaged with radially arranged gates of the gate rotor. First and second axial ends of the screw rotor form suction and discharge sides, respectively. The cylinder accommodates the screw rotor to define a compression chamber in the helical groove. Fluid in the compression chamber flows through the discharge port toward the discharge side of the screw rotor. The adjustment mechanism is configured to adjust a compression ratio of the compression chamber within a predetermined range. The adjustment mechanism adjusts the compression ratio to a minimum compression ratio immediately before or when operation of the adjustment mechanism is stopped.

摘要: A reusable quantization value Qref included in history information or parameter information is obtained in step S21. In step S22, it is judged whether or not the quantization value Qref obtained in step S21 is smaller than a predetermined minimum quantization value Qmin. If it has been judged that the quantization value Qref is smaller than the predetermined minimum quantization value Qmin, the process proceeds to step S23, where the quantization value Q is set at Qmin, and then the process is completed. If it has been judged that the quantization value Qref is not smaller than the predetermined minimum quantization value Qmin, the process proceeds to step S24, where the quantization value Qref is reused and is set as the quantization value Q, and then the process is completed. The present invention can be applied to an SDTI CP-ASI converter or a long GOP encoder.
