    摘要: A pinch roll assembly that may be used for feeding hot metal strip comprises a pair of parallel pinch rolls. At least one of the rolls comprises a copper or copper alloy tube providing the external peripheral roll surface and internal water cooling passages to cool the cylindrical tube by flowing water through the passages. The copper or copper alloy tube is fitted to a cylindrical arbor formed with end shafts for mounting the roll in journal bearings. Shaft is provided with a rotary drive coupling and shaft is fitted with a rotary water coupling for flow of cooling water to the water flow passages.

    摘要: A multi-pass rolling method which permits a multi-pass rolling-mill stand to perform multi-path rolling and still stabilize the rolling operation by preventing lateral deviation movement of a metal workpiece being rolled. The rolling-mill stand has three or more work rolls arranged one above the other and the workpiece is simultaneously rolled at two or more points by at least one of the work rolls. Directly or indirectly roll gaps are detected on the work and drive sides of at least one pass by sensors. A difference signal from the output signals of the sensors is obtained thereby determining a roll gap difference. Control devices are provided which are responsive to the difference signal for independently changing the roll gaps on the work and drive sides.

    摘要: In order to implement handover to a femto cell without making any modification to UEs, a gateway (50) relays traffic between a core network (60, 70) and a plurality of base stations (20—1-20—4) that are respectively incorporated into the core network (60, 70) through a public network. The gateway (50) generates an RRC Connection Release message for prompting establishment of a new RRC connection, when it is notified from the core network (60, 70) that a mobile station (10) is handed over to any one of the plurality of base stations (20—1-20—4). Then, the gateway (50) causes the core network (60, 70) to instruct a control device (40), which has established an RRC connection to the mobile station (10), to transfer the RRC Connection Release message to the mobile station (10).
