摘要： To provide a mouth guard-preparing sheet from which a mouth guard to be used for preventing teeth and their surrounding tissues from a trauma occurred mainly in sports and having a uniform thickness between the right and left sides thereof can be prepared, without causing a problem in the thickness of an anterior teeth portion becoming thin in the preparation of a custom-made mouth guard by heat-sucking. The mouth guard-preparing sheet is made of a thermoplastic resin having a plane shape substantially coincident with a shape of a fixed frame of a heat-sucking type mouth preparation device and provided with a mouth guard portion from a site to be contacted with a labial surface side of a gingiva of an anterior teeth portion to a molar portion side and an elongation tab portion in an exterior direction of a mouth guard portion, wherein said mouth guard portion has a thickness of 1.5˜10 mm; said elongation tab portion has a thickness of 0.1˜0.95 times the thickness of said mouth guard portion; and a stepped portion between the mouth guard portion and the elongation tap portion is in a straight line.

摘要： A stirring mixer for a dental impression material to decrease bubbles to be generated in a mixed dental impression material and the material to be left in a tubular main body, the mixer has a tubular main body wherein a discharging portion is provided following the mixing portion via a throttling portion from an injecting portion to which two pastes are injected, and a stirring rod with protruding stirring blades is rotated by a motor, leading ends of 1st blades are positioned in a largest diameter portion of the throttling portion, leading ends of 2nd, 3rd and 4th blades are positioned in an inner diameter portion of the mixing portion, 1st blade in a rotational direction and interval between 3rd and 4th blades is wider than that between the other adjacent blades, and opposing faces of 3rd and 4th blade to each other bulge towards the other blades.

摘要： A mouthguard composition is disclosed, containing (a) from 40 to 80% by weight of a styrene block copolymer, (b) from 20 to 60% by weight of an alicyclic saturated hydrocarbon resin and/or an ester gum, and (c) from 0.1 to 10% by weight of an organopolysiloxane in which at least one of organic groups directly bound to the silicon atom in one molecule thereof is a phenyl group, a methylstyryl group, or an alkyl group having from 7 to 30 carbon atoms. The mouthguard composition is high in durability and impact absorption and is free from sticking to gypsum model or hands and fingers at the time of preparation and adjustment works.

摘要： A silicone composition for oral mucosa impression is disclosed, comprising: (A) 100 parts by weight of an organopolysiloxane having at least two aliphatic unsaturated hydrocarbons in one molecule and having a viscosity at 25° C. of 500˜1,500 cS; (B) from 0.1 to 20 parts by weight of an organohydrogen polysiloxane having at least three hydrogen atoms directly bonded to a silicon atom in one molecule; (C) from 10 to 500 ppm, based on the total amount of the components (A) and (B), of a silicone-soluble platinum compound; (D) from 1 to 20 parts by weight of a linear methylphenyl polysiloxane having a viscosity at 25° C. of 30 to 10,000 cS; (E) from 10 to 200 parts by weight of an inorganic filler; and (F) from 0.5 to 5 parts by weight of one or two or more surfactants selected from nonionic surfactants. The silicone composition for coral mucosa impression according to the invention does not apply an excessive pressure causing a deformation of an oral mucosa at the time of impression taking, does not substantially flow in a portion to which no pressure is applied, and does not come into the innermost of a throat. Further, it does not have an irritation to the oral mucosa at all.
