摘要： A structure for fixing a carpet on a vehicular floor panel includes an elongate retainer for retaining the carpet on the floor panel, and a covering member for covering a front end portion of the carpet and a front end portion of the retainer. The retainer is detachably fixed to the floor panel and located below the carpet to be concealed by the carpet. The front end portion of the carpet and the front end portion of the retainer are sewn together with the covering member, such that the carpet is secured at its front end portion thereof to the retainer.

摘要： A hinge mechanism for joining a lid of a box with a fixed member and allowing the lid to pivot relative to the fixed member includes a rod and a guiding member which guides the movement of the rod. The rod is secured to the lid. The guiding member is secured to the fixed member which is fixed relative to the box. The lid is placed on a substantially horizontal top hem portion of the box and has a lower peripheral edge portion thereof which is in contact with the top hem portion and located near the fixed member and serves as a fulcrum of the pivotal movement of the lid. The guiding member has an envelope portion thereof for defining an enclosed space for receiving the rod therein. The enclosed space is so sized as to allow the rod to slide smoothly therein.

摘要： A high-performance CMOS field effect semiconductor device using metal gate electrodes. An n-type gate electrode and a p-type gate electrode are formed by using a same metal and differ in nitrogen concentration. As a result, a high-performance CMOS field effect semiconductor device having the n-type gate electrode and the p-type gate electrode between which a work function difference is a predetermined value can be realized. By forming a low-resistance layer on layers which are formed by using the same metal and which differ in nitrogen concentration, it is possible to reduce the resistance of the n-type gate electrode and the p-type gate electrode while controlling the work functions of the n-type gate electrode and the p-type gate electrode. Therefore, a higher-performance CMOS field effect semiconductor device can be realized.
