摘要： A master includes a unit configured to register, for each slave, an expected communication time needed to exchange control data; a unit configured to register a slave in which a communication error is detected during exchange of the control data in a communication period; and a unit configured to re-execute exchange of the control data with the registered slave in the same communication period as that in which the communication error is detected. The unit configured to re-execute exchange of control data calculates a remaining resending time that can be used to re-execute exchange of the control data and, when the remaining resending time is longer than the expected communication time of the registered slave, resends the control data.

摘要： An EL light-emitting device includes an insulating board, to which an EL light-emitting sheet is fixed on a front surface of the insulating board for allowing penetration, an output terminal disposed on a back surface of the insulating board, which exhibits conductivity and allows penetration, a drive circuit connected to the output terminal, and a conductive member with a pointed portion which fixes the EL light-emitting sheet to the front surface of the insulating board, and conducts the electrode of the EL light-emitting sheet and the output terminal by penetrating the electrode of the EL light-emitting sheet and the output terminal. The force for fixing a sheet EL element is sufficiently strong such that plural sheet EL elements are attached through simple installation work.

摘要： A synchronized communication system is provided in which even when communication devices are connected in series to a transmission path, devices connected to the communication devices are synchronized so that a communication cycle can be reduced. A second communication device includes a relay path and a return path which do not pass through a storage device, and a path selection switch therefor. A first communication device instructs switching of the return path from the transmission path, measures a transmission path delay time, notifies the second communication device of it, and sends a reference time of the first communication device for each communication cycle. The second communication device corrects its reference time using the transmission path delay time and the reference time. When a new second communication device is found during synchronized communication, the first communication device also performs transmission path delay measurement using the remaining time in the communication cycle.

摘要： A skin opening and closure device for surgical procedures incorporates elongated flexible locking strips having elongated locking ridge means formed thereon which are adapted to be placed in interlocking assembly and capable of being separated and relocked, as desired. A plurality of half staples are provided, each of which is secured to respective ones of the locking strips to thereby define staple assemblies. Each of the staple assemblies incorporates skin penetrating elements and are adapted to be bent intermediate the extremities thereof to establish a secure skin retaining relation with the skin of the patient to provide a secure closure at the surgical incision. The staples, preferably, incorporate spaced pairs of skin penetrating projections which are originally positioned in substantially parallel relation, and which are adapted to be positioned in opposed, skin retaining relation upon bending of the staple. In use, the staples of the device are brought into engaging assembly with the skin of the patient at the site of the intended incision. Thereafter, the locking strips are separated in zipper-like manner to expose the skin for incision. After completion of the procedure, the locking strips are brought into interlocked relation by manual pressure or by zipper-like closure means to thereby close the incision.
