Abstract:
A network access processing method and user equipment, where the UE accesses a first VPLMN through a first access network, and accesses a second VPLMN through a second access network; the UE determines, according to either an ANDSF policy of the first VPLMN and an ANDSF policy of the second VPLMN, to initiate a data stream offloading operation; and then the UE performs the data stream offloading operation according to an ANDSF policy different from the ANDSF policy that is either the ANDSF policy of the first VPLMN or the ANDSF policy of the second VPLMN and is used to determine to initiate the data stream offloading operation.
Abstract:
A data flow control method, and related device and communication system are provided. In the solutions of a data flow control, a first gateway receives a first message sent by a user equipment (UE) through a first access network, where the first message carries first Internet Protocol (IP) flow identification information; the first gateway sends a second message to a packet data network gateway, and receives a third message sent by the packet data network gateway, where the third message carries third IP flow identification information, and the third IP flow identification information is used to identify an IP flow that is allowed by a network to be transmitted by the UE through the first access network and/or an IP flow that is allowed by a network to be transmitted by the UE through a second access network; and the first gateway sends a fourth message to the UE.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method for triggering communication between a group of MTC devices and an MTC server, and an MTC device. The method includes: receiving an MTC request message sent by a machine type communications MTC server, where the MTC request message carries a group ID of the group of MTC devices and a communication notification message for the group of MTC devices; obtaining area information of the group of MTC devices; and sending the area information, the group ID of the group of MTC devices, and the communication notification message for the group of MTC devices to a cell broadcast center CBC, so that the CBC sends a broadcast message to a device in an area, where the broadcast message includes the group ID of the group of MTC devices and the communication notification message for the group of MTC devices.

Abstract:
A wireless communications component that supports a first radio access technology (RAT) and a second RAT. After the wireless communications component establishes a connection with a second RAT network, the wireless communications component receives a first message sent by the second RAT network. The first message includes content that is used to query a second RAT capability of the wireless communications component. The wireless communications component sends a second message to the second RAT network. The second message is used to indicate the second RAT capability of the wireless communications component and indicate that the wireless communications component does not support the first RAT. Because the wireless communications component reports to the second RAT network that the wireless communications component does not support the first RAT, the second RAT network does not instruct the wireless communications component to be changed to the first RAT.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a handover method performed by a source access network device, which includes: sending, a handover request or a WLAN offload request to a UE, so that the UE determines information about a target AP according to AP information corresponding to a target RAN and information about a currently accessed AP, and sends a WLAN offload binding request carrying the information about the target AP to a target access network device in the target RAN, so as to complete a RAN handover, where the handover request or the WLAN offload request includes the AP information corresponding to the target RAN, and the AP information corresponding to the target RAN is information about an AP in a WLAN that covers, together with the target RAN, a location of the UE; and receiving a handover response or a WLAN offload response returned by the UE.
Abstract:
A short message processing method and a relevant system. In one embodiment, a short message service (SMS)-submit message sent by a calling terminal to a mobile switching center (MSC) or service general packet radio service (GPRS) carries an indication that a called terminal does not have an MSISDN, and the SMS-submit message carries a session initiation protocol (SIP) uniform resource identifier (URI) of the called terminal, so that the calling terminal is capable of sending the indication and the SIP URI of the called terminal to an SMS-service center (SMS-SC) via the MSC or SGSN and an SMS-interworking MSC (SMS-IWMSC), and the SMS-SC implements short message communications with the called terminal via an SMS-GMSC and an Internet protocol (IP) short message-gateway (IP-SM-GW).
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for searching for a network. The method includes: determining that a user equipment (UE) camping on a cell of a current public land mobile network (PLMN) is in an access barred state; determining that the UE cannot be successfully registered with the current PLMN; and performing a PLMN search. In the method and the apparatus for searching for a network according to embodiments of the present invention, if it is determined that the UE normally camping on the cell of the current PLMN is in the access barred state and cannot be successfully registered with the current PLMN, the PLMN search is performed, so that when the UE is in the access barred state, the UE can still perform the PLMN search, and can further select a new PLMN for access and execute a normal service, thereby improving user experience.
Abstract:
A method for network handover includes sending a first message that includes first information to a second network, where the first information is used to indicate that a user equipment needs to be handed over from a first network to the second network, so that a target gateway device allocates, to the user equipment according to at least the first information sent by the second network, a second Internet Protocol (IP) address that is the same as a first IP address and used when a second packet data network (PDN) connection is established by using the second network and the target gateway device, where the first IP address is an IP address used when the user equipment establishes a first PDN connection by using the first network and the target gateway device. Therefore, service continuity is ensured after a network handover.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, an apparatus, and a system for controlling network access of a machine terminal. In the embodiments of the present invention, an authorized period and/or a forbidden period of a time-controlled subscription is generated according to information such as network service load historical data of a network and application information of the time-controlled subscription. Network access of the machine terminal is controlled according to the authorized period and/or the forbidden period. Because the network access time of the machine terminal can be controlled flexibly, the communication of the machine terminal can be controlled flexibly, and impacts of machine terminal communication on ordinary terminal communication can be reduced.
