    Abstract: A method for communication between controllers in TSN. A first controller receives a first packet that is sent by a second controller and that includes an identifier of a TSN domain to which the second controller belongs. The first controller determines, based on the TSN domain identifier, that the first controller and the second controller belong to a same TSN domain. The first controller sends, to the second controller, a second packet that carries user information. According to the foregoing method, communication and exchange between the controllers may be implemented, so that the controllers cooperatively configure a network device in the TSN.

    Abstract: This application discloses network transmission methods and a related device. The method includes: A first network device determines a first planned latency based on a traffic characteristic of a data flow, where the first planned latency is a maximum latency for transmitting the data flow in a first network domain; updates a first accumulated latency based on the first planned latency, where the first accumulated latency is a maximum accumulated latency of the data flow from a source node to a destination node in TSN; and when the first accumulated latency is not greater than a target latency, sends a first message to a second network device, where the first message includes the first accumulated latency, the target latency is a needed latency of the data flow from the source node to the destination node in the TSN.

    Abstract: A traffic scheduling method includes determining, by a first network device, first traffic scheduling information and a transmission path of a first data stream based on a first talker attribute message received from a talker device and a listener attribute message received from a listener device, and then sending, by the first network device, a first traffic scheduling message to a network device on the transmission path. The first traffic scheduling message includes the first traffic scheduling information. The first traffic scheduling information indicates the network device on the transmission path to generate a gate control list. The gate control list indicates the network device on the transmission path to control, based on the gate control list, a state of a port used to transmit the first data stream.

    Abstract: A load sharing method includes: establishing a first tunnel and a second tunnel between a first network device and a second network device, where the first tunnel and the second tunnel form a bonding tunnel through hybrid bonding; sending, by the first network device, a plurality of data packets to the second network device; determining, by the first network device, a usage status of buffer space of a bonding tunnel reorder buffer of the second network device based on an acknowledgment response returned by the second network device; and performing, based on the usage status and according to a specified load sharing policy, load sharing between the first tunnel and the second tunnel for a packet to be transmitted by the first network device to the second network device.

    Abstract: This application discloses a packet forwarding method and apparatus, a system, a device, and a storage medium. The method is applied to an in-vehicle network and includes: obtaining, by a network device, a plurality of packets carried on an Ethernet link in the in-vehicle network, where the plurality of packets are packets of one or more application categories; determining a traffic class of each packet based on an application category of each packet in the plurality of packets; adding each packet to a forwarding queue corresponding to the traffic class based on the traffic class of each packet; and scheduling and forwarding packets in all forwarding queues based on an absolute priority and a traffic class corresponding to each forwarding queue, and using a shaper in a forwarding queue of at least one traffic class in intermediate traffic classes in the scheduling and forwarding process.

    Abstract: A packet forwarding method includes a first network device receiving a first message from a second network device via a second egress port of the second network device, where the first message measures a phase difference, and where the phase difference is a phase difference between a switching time of one of a plurality of first buffers of a first egress port of the first network device and a switching time of one of a plurality of second buffers of the second egress port of the second network device with a link delay taken into consideration. The first network device determines the phase difference based on the first message. Then, the first network device schedules, based on the phase difference, a second data packet sent via the first egress port.

    Abstract: A method for transmitting packets includes: determining, by a transmitting device based on a length of a packet, whether a quantity of tokens in a first token bucket meets a requirement for transmitting the packet, where a token injection rate of the first token bucket is set based on bandwidth of a first link. If the quantity of tokens in the first token bucket meets the requirement for transmitting the packet, a quantity of tokens required for transmitting the packet is obtained, and the packet is transmitted using the first link. If the quantity of tokens in the first token bucket does not meet the requirement for transmitting the packet, determining whether a second link is congested. If the second link is not in a congested state, the transmitting device transmits the packet by using the second link.
