    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a downlink control information (DCI) transmission method, a network device, and user equipment. The method includes the following steps: A network device transmits DCI in a first DCI format; when the DCI is used to schedule a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) carrying a multicast traffic channel, the network device indicates, by using a first radio network temporary identifier (RNTI), that the DCI is used to schedule the PDSCH carrying the multicast traffic channel, and that first information is indicated in the DCI and second information is not indicated in the DCI; and when the DCI is used to schedule a user equipment-specific (UE-specific) PDSCH, the network device indicates, by using a second RNTI, that the DCI is used to schedule the UE-specific PDSCH, and that the first information is not indicated in the DCI and the second information is indicated in the DCI.

    Abstract: A control channel transmission method includes: sending a first message to a user equipment (UE), where the first message includes a set of control channel configuration information; determining, for the UE according to the set of control channel configuration information, control channel configuration information used to transmit a control channel; and transmitting the control channel according to the control channel configuration information that is determined for the UE and used to transmit the control channel. The control channel configuration information used to transmit the control channel may be determined for the user equipment, and the control channel is transmitted (that is, received or sent) according to the control channel configuration information. Therefore, when transmitting the control channel, the UE can directly transmit a control channel corresponding to the control channel configuration information.

The uplink information transmission method includes: sending, by UE, first uplink information on a first frequency resource of a first subframe set; and sending, by the UE, second uplink information on a second frequency resource of a second subframe set, where the first frequency resource and the second frequency resource are frequency resources included in two different narrowbands; a radio frame in which a subframe in the first subframe set is located is different from a radio frame in which a subframe in the second subframe set is located, and any subframe included in the first subframe set and any subframe included in the second subframe set belong to different radio frames.

    Abstract: The application pertains to determining a rank of channel loss extent. A base station sends to a terminal a signaling indicating that there are N ranks of channel loss extent. Each rank has a corresponding number of random access preamble repetitions. The base station receives from the terminal device one or more transmissions of a random access preamble in a first number of repetitions of the random access preamble. The base station determines the rank of channel loss extent according to a random access preamble group in which the received random access preamble is located, or the first number of repetitions of the received random access preamble. A channel loss is a reference signal received power (RSRP). After determining the rank of channel loss extent, the base station determines a second number of repetitions corresponding to the determined rank of channel loss extent, for sending or receiving uplink/downlink information.

    Abstract: A control information communication method, a base station, and user equipment are provided. A determination is made whether downlink control information (DCI) is used for multicast transmission or for paging. When the DCI is determined to be used for multicast transmission, the DCI is scrambled by using a single cell radio network temporary identifier (SC-RNTI). The DCI includes indication information and scheduling information, the indication information indicating whether a multicast control channel is updated. When the DCI is determined to be used for paging, the DCI is scrambled by using a paging radio network temporary identifier (P-RNTI). The scrambled DCI can be sent to user equipment by using a first downlink control information format.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a transmission method for a common message and a device, which relates to a field of communication technologies and is invented for effectively ensuring that both a low cost MTC terminal and a normal LTE terminal may reliably receive the common message.
