Abstract:
A service network for access procedure enhancement includes a radio access network performing wireless transmissions and receptions to and from a mobile communication device. The service network also includes a control node receiving an access probe from the mobile communication device via the radio access network, determining whether the access probe indicates that a length of message data is less than a threshold, and transmitting a pre-acknowledgement of the access probe to the mobile communication device via the radio access network in response to the length of the message data being less than the threshold.
Abstract:
A mobile communication device including a wireless module and a controller module is provided, and the mobile communication device is coupled to a cellular access station. The wireless module performs wireless transmissions and receptions to and from the cellular access station. The controller module determines whether a GAPM has been received from the cellular access station via the wireless module and whether the mobile communication device supports an EACH, and if so, performs Tx operations on the EACH using a random access procedure with a message duration, and otherwise, if not, performs the Tx operations on an ACH using the random access procedure. Particularly, the GAPM includes a maximum message duration and a minimum message duration over the EACH, and the message duration is not greater than the maximum message duration and not less than the minimum message duration over the EACH.
Abstract:
Technology for a Next Generation NodeB (gNB) configured to operate in an unlicensed narrowband Internet of Things (U-NB-IoT) system is disclosed. The gNB can encode a system information block type 1 (SIB1) for transmission to a user equipment (UE) on band 54. The gNB can perform channel switching from band 54 to a selected sub-channel in band 47b at a selected switching point. The gNB can encode data for transmission to the UE during a data dwell on the selected sub-channel in band 47b.
Abstract:
A mobile device and information transmission method are provided. The information transmission method is applied to the mobile device in M2M communication and includes the steps of determining whether a base station and the mobile device support transmission of capability information of the mobile device by a General Extension Message; and determining whether the capability information of the mobile device is changed when the base station and the mobile device support transmission of the capability information by the General Extension Message, wherein when the capability information of the mobile device is changed, the changed capability information is tied up with a Registration Message and transmitted to the base station by the General Extension Message.
Abstract:
Communication transmission system and method are provided. The communication transmission system includes a base station and user equipment. The base station is configured to control a page response for terminated services. The user equipment is configured to receive the page response from the base station. In addition, the user equipment obtains priorities of the different terminated services according to the page response from the base station.
Abstract:
A method for retransmitting reverse link data practiced by a media access control layer, the method comprising: buffering a plurality of data frames encapsulated in a first access probe in a memory; obtaining information regarding data frames encapsulated in the first access probe that are successfully decoded by a telecommunication network; selecting the buffered data frames that are required to be retransmitted, according to the obtained information; and passing down the selected data frames to a physical layer, to encapsulate the selected data frames into a second access probe and transmit the second access probe to the telecommunication network.
Abstract:
In one embodiment, a method, comprising: configuring a batch notification based on setting a first value, the first value corresponding to a specified number of notifications to be stored before providing a batch notification; responsive to setting the first value, setting a second value, the second value corresponding to a duration commencing from generation of a first notification and ending at a specified temporal value; and automatically providing one or more notifications over a network compliant with a oneM2M specification based on the first and second values.
