Abstract: Technology for a user equipment (UE) operable for channel state information (CSI) reporting for selected bandwidth parts is disclosed. The UE can be configured to decode CSI reporting parameters for one or more bandwidth parts (BWPs). The UE can be configured to calculate CSI for the one or more BWPs based on measurements from the one or more BWPs and the CSI reporting parameters for the one or more BWPs. The UE can be configured to generate one or more CSI reports for the one or more BWPs based on measurements from the one or more BWPs and the CSI reporting parameters for the one or more BWPs. The UE can be configured to encode the one or more CSI reports using the one or more BWPs.

Abstract: Various embodiments provide techniques for channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) transmission in a wireless cellular network. CSI-RS transmission bandwidth is determined based on a frequency domain allocation of a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH), a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH), or a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). A user equipment (UE) receives the CSI-RS according to the frequency domain allocation and a time domain allocation.
