Abstract: A mobile communication device including a wireless module and a controller module is provided, and the mobile communication device is coupled to a cellular access station. The wireless module performs wireless transmissions and receptions to and from the cellular access station. The controller module determines whether a GAPM has been received from the cellular access station via the wireless module and whether the mobile communication device supports an EACH, and if so, performs Tx operations on the EACH using a random access procedure with a message duration, and otherwise, if not, performs the Tx operations on an ACH using the random access procedure. Particularly, the GAPM includes a maximum message duration and a minimum message duration over the EACH, and the message duration is not greater than the maximum message duration and not less than the minimum message duration over the EACH.

Abstract: Provided herein are apparatus and method for user equipment (UE) panel selection. The disclosure provides an apparatus for a UE, comprising: a radio frequency (RF) interface to receive one or more reference signal resources from a next generation NodeB (gNB); and processor circuitry coupled with the RF interface, the processor circuitry to: determine a beam quality for each of the one or more reference signal resources received at each panel of the UE; and report beam information to the gNB, the beam information to indicate the beam quality of each of the one or more reference signal resources and corresponding panel for receiving each of the one or more reference signal resources. Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods to enable multi-TRP operation with a single DCI and with multiple DCI are described. A single DCI or multiple DCIs for the TRPs are used for PUCCH transmissions and SRS transmissions. The spatial relations between CORESET reception and PUCCH transmission or between SRS repetition are provided. The association for PUCCH transmission is dependent on whether a single spatial relation is used or multiple spatial relations are used. The association is a default association, an explicit association, and an implicit association between TRP and CORESET or TCI state.

Abstract: An apparatus of user equipment (UE) includes processing circuitry coupled to a memory, where to configure the UE for DMRS processing in an NR network, the processing circuitry is to decode higher layer signaling, the higher layer signaling to indicate whether transform precoding is enabled and to indicate a modulation scheme for a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) if transform precoding is enabled. A set of low Peak-to-Average-Power-Ratio (PAPR) base sequences of length-6 is generated. A reference signal sequence is generated as a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) using the set of low-PAPR base sequences, based on the modulation scheme if transform precoding is enabled by the higher layer signaling, the modulation scheme being a π/2-binary phase-shift keying (BPSK) modulation scheme. Mapping of the DMRS to physical resources for transmission using the PUSCH is performed.
