Abstract: Embodiments of an access point (AP), station (STA) and method for multi-user (MU) location measurement are generally described herein. The AP may contend for a transmission opportunity (TXOP) to obtain access to a channel. The AP may transmit a trigger frame (TF) to initiate a multi-user (MU) location measurement during the TXOP. The AP may receive service requests for the MU location measurement from a plurality of STAs. The AP may transmit an MU acknowledgement (ACK) frame that indicates reception of the service requests. The AP may receive, from the STAs, uplink sounding frames that include per-STA timing information for the service requests and the MU ACK frame. The STA may determine location measurements for the STAs based on the per-STA timing information included in the uplink sounding frames.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, computer readable media for uplink transmission power control in a wireless network. An apparatus of a wireless device comprising processing circuitry is disclosed. The processing circuitry is configured to decode a trigger frame from an access point for an uplink communication, the trigger frame comprising an uplink resource allocation for the station, the uplink resource allocation including common information and per station information, the common information including an indication of a maximum receive power at the access point, the per station information comprising an identification of the station, and an indication of a resource unit (RU). The processing circuitry may be further configured to: encode an uplink (UL) physical layer convergence procedure (PLCP) protocol data unit (PPDU)(UL-PPDU) in accordance with the indication of the RU. The processing circuitry may be further configured to: determine a transmit power for the UL-PPDU based on the maximum receive power.

Abstract: Embodiments of an access point (AP), station (STA) and method of communication are generally described herein. The AP may include a used basic service set (BSS) color in a downlink physical layer convergence procedure protocol, data unit (PPDU). The used BSS color may indicate communication between the AP and associated STAs. The AP may detect another PPDU from an STA that is un associated with the AP. If a header portion of the detected PPDU includes the used BSS color, the AP may: determine an alternate BSS color, and transmit a color switch announcement (CSA) element that indicates the alternate BSS color. The CSA element may be configurable to further indicate whether the AP and the associated STAs are to switch, from the operating channel to an alternate channel for the communication.

Abstract: Methods, computer readable media, and wireless apparatuses are disclosed for trigger frame recovery. An apparatus of a wireless device is disclosed. The processing circuitry may be further configured to configure the wireless device to transmit the trigger frame to the one or more stations. The processing circuitry may be further configured to configure the wireless device to contend for the wireless medium a first time, encode a retransmission of the trigger frame, and configure the wireless device to transmit the retransmission of the trigger frame to the one or more stations, if a frame is not received from the one or more stations in response to the trigger frame before a trigger frame timeout duration.

Abstract: Embodiments of a station (STA), access point (AP) and method for aggregation of data packets are generally described herein. The AP may transmit a trigger frame (TF) to an STA that indicates an access class (AC) constraint parameter and a traffic identifier (TID) aggregation limit parameter. The STA may select a group of aggregate TIDs from which medium access control (MAC) protocol data units (MPDUs) may be aggregated into an aggregated MPDU (A-MPDU). The AC constraint parameter may indicate a recommended AC from which at least a portion of the aggregate TIDs are to be selected. The TID aggregation limit parameter may indicate a number of TIDs to be selected for the group of aggregate TIDs.

Abstract: Apparatuses, computer readable media, and methods for multicast negative acknowledgements using high-energy long-training fields for feedback are disclosed. An apparatus of a wireless device is disclosed. The apparatus includes memory and processing circuitry coupled to the memory where the processing circuitry configured to: encode one or more packets in accordance with multicast or broadcast, cause to be transmitted the one or more packets to one or more stations, and decode feedback from the one or more stations. The feedback may be received simultaneously on a same resource block for each packet of the one or more packets. Each packet may be represented by one resource block of the one or more resource blocks. The resource blocks may be thirty-six resource blocks per 20 MHz subchannel with nine resource blocks in a frequency domain by four spatial streams.

Abstract: An apparatus for implementing power control for a radio device that has multiple radio transceivers operating in different bands, including sub-bands of a single frequency band. The device implements a power control protocol for communications between the device and a similar peer device. The device sets-up the power control protocol by generating a request to use one of the multiple bands to signal power control operations, and to use another one of the multiple bands to transfer data between the device and the peer device. The device sends the request to the peer device and receives a response. Based on the response, the device identifies a control channel band and a data channel band from among the multiple bands.

An example station based apparatus to facilitate target wake time operations between an access point and the station includes a data manager to determine at least one of a quantity of uplink data to be sent by the station or a quantity of downlink data to be received by the station, a connection manager to schedule a connection of the station to a device different than the access point, and a target wake time negotiator in communication with a component interface to at least one of receive a signal from or distribute a signal to the access point, the signal to modify a service period of the target wake time based on at least one of the quantity of uplink data, the quantity of downlink data, or the scheduled connection.
