Abstract: An apparatus and system are described to support secondary cell (SCell) dormancy switching when cross-carrier scheduling (CCS) from SCell to primary cell (PCell) transmission is supported are described. A physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) transmission on the sSCell has a downlink control information format (DCI) format 0_1 or 1_1 containing a SCell dormancy indication field and a CIF are used to indicate CCS and SCell dormancy switching to deactivate the SCell. The CIF value is either 0 or indicates the PCell and may depend on whether physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission is scheduled. The DCI triggers bandwidth part (BWP) switching for the PCell to indicate to the UE to switch to monitoring UE-specific search space sets on the PCell instead of on the SCell.

Abstract: A computer-readable storage medium stores instructions to configure a UE for cross-carrier scheduling of data transmissions in a 5G NR and beyond wireless network, and to cause the UE to perform operations including decoding configuration signaling received from a base station. The configuration signaling indicates a first numerology parameter for a scheduling cell of the base station and a second numerology parameter for a scheduled cell of the base station. DCI is received via a PDCCH of the scheduling cell. The DCI schedules a DL data transmission in the scheduled cell of the base station. The DL data transmission is received via a PDSCH of the scheduled cell when a difference between the first numerology parameter and the second numerology parameter is smaller than or equal to a pre-configured numerology threshold value. The UE refrains from decoding the DL data transmission when the difference is greater than the threshold value.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) configured for operation in a fifth-generation new radio (5G NR) system may be configured for multi physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) scheduling and may decode a first downlink control information (DCI) and a second DCI received from a gNodeB (gNB). The first DCI may schedule multiple PDSCHs and the second DCI may schedule one or more PDSCHs. The UE may check the timing relations of the scheduled PDSCHs for validity when the first DCI and the second DCI end at a same symbol. When the multiple PDSCHs scheduled by the first DCI and the one or more PDSCHs scheduled by the second DCI are determined to have overlapping time spans, the UE may identify all the PDSCHs scheduled by the first DCI the second DCI as invalid.

Abstract: A computer-readable storage medium stores instructions to configure one or more processors of a Further Reduced Capacity (F-RedCap) UE for operation in a 5G NR network, and to cause the F-RedCap UE to perform operations including decoding a PBCH to obtain a numerology parameter. A maximum resource block (RB) allocation is determined for a bandwidth associated with the numerology parameter. The maximum RB allocation is adjusted based on a reduced bandwidth associated with the F-RedCap UE to obtain an adjusted RB allocation. A maximum data rate is determined based on the numerology parameter and the adjusted RB allocation. Data is encoded for an uplink (UE) transmission to a base station. The UE transmission uses the maximum data rate.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) configured for Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request Acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) codebook determination in a fifth-generation (5G) new radio (NR) network may decode a downlink control information (DCI) format received from a generation Node B (gNB). When the DCI format triggers HARQ-ACK codebook retransmission, the UE may determine a HARQ-ACK codebook to be retransmitted based on a time-offset indicated in the DCI format. To determine the HARQ-ACK codebook to be retransmitted, the UE may determine an uplink (UL) slot that included an initial transmission of the HARQ-ACK codebook based on subtracting the time-offset from the DL slot that included the DCI. The UE may also encode a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) to include the HARQ-ACK codebook determined to be retransmitted in a UL slot based on a slot offset.
