Abstract: An apparatus and system to enable URLLC PUSCH repetitions in the unlicensed spectrum are described. The number of consecutive PUSCH repetitions indicated in the RRC parameter is reinterpreted as the number of transmission occasions over which the UE is able to attempt CCA. An orphan symbol is used to provide a DMRS transmission or cyclic prefix of the PUSCH transmission causing the orphan symbol. Whether a CG-UCI is piggybacked in a PUSCH transmission, and whether DCI-DFI is used, is dependent on whether cg-RetransmissionTimer is configured.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein relate to downlink (DL) control channel signaling for an aperiodic channel state information (A-CSI) trigger. In one example, a user equipment (UE) communicates with a network to receive first configuration signaling to identify a first downlink control information (DCI) in a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). The UE also receives, from the network, the first DCI. The first DCI is appended with cyclic redundancy check (CRC) bits that are scrambled by a common radio network temporary identifier (RNTI) and is to indicate an aperiodic channel state information (A-CSI) trigger. Next, the UE receives, from the network, channel state information (CSI) reference signals in one or more occasions that follow an occasion in which the first DCI is received and generates and transmits a CSI report in a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) based on the CSI reference signals.

Abstract: An apparatus and system to permit a UE idle or inactive mode to operate as an URLLC initiating device operating in a shared spectrum in a PRACH procedure are described. The UE receives a gNB control signal that contains an indication that the UE is able to operate as an initiating device and in response transmits a physical random access channel (PRACH) message within a Fixed Frame Period (FFP) of the UE. Transmission of the PRACH message is contingent on non-overlap of the PRACH message transmission with the idle period of a gNB FFP.

Abstract: An apparatus and system for deferring hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback for semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmissions in a time-domain duplexing (TDD) system are described. After an SPS PDSCH configuration indicating that deferral of the SPS HARQ feedback is enabled is received, a user equipment (UE) determines whether a PUCCH associated with a particular SPS PDSCH transmission is able to be transmitted on valid uplink (UL) symbols. The PUCCH carries a SPS HARQ-ACK bits to acknowledge the particular SPS PDSCH transmission. If the PUCCH is unable to be transmitted using the timing of the SPS PDSCH configuration, the transmission is deferred until the next valid occasion on which the PUCCH is able to be transmitted.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure describe methods, apparatuses, storage media, and systems for determining a capability of a UE to support a first downlink control information (DCI) format for Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) reception in a downlink (DL) bandwidth part (BWP) and a second DCI format for scheduling uplink (UL) grants for physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission in a UL bandwidth part (BWP), where the first DCI format is different from DCI formats 1_0 or 1_1, and the second DCI format is different from DCI formats 0_0 or 0_1. Furthermore, a base station may determine search spaces for monitoring physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates to obtain DCI formats indicated by the base station. Abstract: Systems for providing prioritization of UL transmissions in a UE are described. The prioritization information is used to resolve resource conflicts among UL transmissions that include conflicts between high priority UL transmissions, between an aperiodic-channel state information transmission and a scheduling request, and between a low priority UL transmission and a high priority UL transmission when timeline conditions for multiplexing in a single UL transmission are not met. The prioritization is based on timing and priority of the UL transmissions to determine which of the UL transmissions to transmit and which to cancel. Additional prioritization is based on reception by the UE of a cancelation index or in an additional overlapping high priority UL grant received in a DCI of a PDCCH that overlaps with at least one other PDCCH associated with the UL transmissions.
