Abstract: According to one embodiment, a display device includes touch detection electrodes, and a driver. The touch detection electrodes include stripe common electrodes serving as electrodes for display. The driver includes a first, second, and third drivers for driving each of the stripe electrodes. Auxiliary lines connect each of the stripe electrodes to the third driver. The first and second drivers are provided along shorter sides of the stripe electrodes. The third driver is provided along a longer side of the stripe electrodes.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a sensor device includes a touch panel, an input device configured such that a resonant circuit including first and second conductive materials, a magnetic field generation source disposed at a position overlapping the touch panel, and a sensor controller. Each of the first and second conductive materials is capacitively coupled to at least one of a plurality of electrodes included in the touch panel. The resonant circuit is electromagnetically coupled to the magnetic field generation source so as to resonate based on a magnetic field. The sensor controller detects positions of the first and second conductive materials on the touch panel by applying a voltage to each of the plurality of electrodes.

The sensor controller holds a reference signal corresponding to an electrostatic capacitance in a state where the conductor is not opposed to the touch panel, and detects first coordinates of the conductor based on a first sensor signal received from the touch panel in a state where the conductor is opposed to a first position of the touch panel and the reference signal in a first sensing period.
