摘要: A portable encoder transmits a response signal, which contains code information that is specific to the encoder (2). The code information contained in the received response signal is compared with reference code information in a receiving unit (4), which is located in the object and is connected to an evaluation unit (9). In addition, both the distance of the encoder (2) from the receiving unit (4) and the receiving level of the response signal are measured on the object side and the position of the encoder (2) is calculated from the measurements. This permits a differentiation to be made between the exterior and interior regarding the position of the encoder (2). Access is released and authorization is granted, only if the position of the encoder (2) is identified as permissible.

摘要: A method for distance measurement and data transmission in a continuous wave radar system is described. A continuous wave radar system has a transmit and receive module and at least one transponder device, a mobile control and monitoring device and an HMI system. Transponder devices are searched for with the aid of an unmodulated continuous wave signal as an interrogation signal, such that the transponder device can send a radio response signal to the transmit and receive module in response to the interrogation signal, as a result of which a data transmission takes place from the transponder device to the transmit and receive module. Upon completion of the data transmission a frequency-modulated continuous wave signal is generated in order to measure, on the basis thereof, a distance between the transponder device and the transmit and receive module.

摘要: A method for controlling a power supply of a mobile data memory (MDS). The mobile data memory is operable to communicate via wireless data transfer using an antenna (A). The mobile data memory has at least one energy accumulator (BAT), a data demodulator (EMP), a data processing unit (C) and an electronic memory (MEM). The method includes switching to a standby mode from a full operation mode, the standby mode having a lower energy supply than the full operation mode but permitting receipt of the signal. When the mobile data memory receives a signal (ES), the received signal is evaluated to detect at least one backscatter frequency and an associated communication frequency (f1, f2).

摘要: A method for determining the distance between a base station (SLG) and a mobile object (DT1–DT3). A HF carrier frequency and an offset frequency (df) are predetermined for a QAM modulation. The HF carrier frequency is increased and decreased by the offset frequency in sequence over time in such a way that the HF carrier base frequencies (fo+df, fo−df) resulting in an HF carrier signal (TS) thus modulated exhibit an identical phase when the frequency is changed. The HF carrier signal is subsequently transmitted and simultaneously mixed (MIX) with an HF carrier signal (RS) that has been backscattered by the mobile object to obtain a carrier phase signal (PS). The corresponding carrier phase (PH1, PH2) for the two HF carrier base frequencies is determined in sequence over time. The difference (dPH) between these phases is used to calculate the distance between the base station and the respective mobile object.

摘要: A method and system for transferring data between at least one read/write device (RWD) and at least one mobile data memory (MDM). The mobile data memory (MDM) is preferably attached to an object for recording object-related status and/or process data, e.g. in a dispatch, transport and/or manufacturing system for the individual objects. According to the method, a difference in transfer time between the received data signals of a mobile data memory (MDM) and transmitted data signals of the read/write device (RWD) is determined in the read/write device (RWD) and the received data signals of the mobile data memory (MDM) are processed further in said read/write device (RWD) only if the difference in transfer time which has been determined lies within a predefined transfer time limit.

摘要: A circuit (SA) for generating a high-frequency multi-carrier signal (TS) from at least two carrier signals (S1, S2) having respective carrier frequencies (f1, f2). The circuit includes two signal generators (G1, G2) to generate the carrier signals, two high-frequency amplifiers (V1, V2), connected to outputs of the two signal generators respectively, to generate two amplified carrier signals (VS1, VS2) and a high-frequency combiner (HF) connected to the outputs of the amplifiers, to combine the two amplified carrier signals and generate the multi-carrier signal. The two carrier signals have a selected frequency spacing (dF) between them. The ratio of the frequency spacing of the two carrier signals to a frequency of each of the two carrier signals is less than 1:100. Electrical characteristics of the two amplifiers and the combiner are adjusted such that intermodulation frequency components of the two carrier signals have signal strengths below a certain threshold relative to signal strengths of the two carrier signals.
