摘要: A clutter suppressing device for suppressing echo data of reflection waves caused by radar transmission signals reflecting on a static object is provided. Each of the radar transmission signals is transmitted at a predetermined azimuth from a radar antenna at a predetermined time interval. The clutter suppressing device includes an echo data memory configured to sequentially store a plurality of echo data of reflection waves caused by the radar transmission signals reflecting on objects, a filter configured to select, from the plurality of echo data, a data row in the azimuth direction for a predetermined distance, and suppress, in the data row, echo data of a target object moving at a speed within a predetermined range, and a suppression echo data output unit configured to output suppression echo data containing the echo data suppressed by the filter.

摘要: Integrated circuits may include a constant false alarm rate (CFAR) detection circuit, which may identify targets among clutter and noise in a range-Doppler map. The CFAR detection circuit may compute power values for each cell in the range-Doppler map and scan the range-Doppler map cell by cell. For this purpose, the CFAR detection circuit may compute a target value for a cell-under-test and surrounding cells and a noise value for one or more regions in local proximity of the cell-under-test on the range-Doppler map. For example, the CFAR detection circuit may perform a two-dimensional filtering to compute the target value and compute a sum of accumulated power values weighted by predetermined coefficients. The predetermined coefficients may taper at edges of the range-Doppler map and/or at edges of the regions. The CFAR detection circuit may declare a target based on a comparison of the target value and noise value.

摘要: A first radar transmitter and a second radar transmitter transmit a first modulation signal and a second modulation signal which are generated by repeating a predetermined time of code sequences, each of which has a predetermined code length, using a first code width and a second code width, respectively. An A/D converter converts the modulation signal into a discrete signal in a sampling cycle shorter than a difference between the first code width and the second code width. A positioning section separates a plurality of reception signals using a first correlation value based on outputs from the A/D converter and a first delay section corresponding to the first code width and a second correlation value based on outputs from the A/D converter and a second delay section corresponding to the second code width.

摘要: A method may include generating for transmission a repeating sequence of N constant-frequency pulses of width t seconds at interpulse intervals of T seconds, with each pulse in the sequence having a particular constant phase according to a quadratic phase sequence, which phase is applied to each pulse in a first sense of modulation. The method may further include modulating the phase of echo energy received from one or more objects reflecting the transmitted repeating sequence of N constant-frequency pulses with a second sense of modulation opposite to the first sense of modulation. The method may further include producing from the modulated received echo energy N unique and discrete frequency translations of the received echo energy as a function of range r of the reflecting objects, of magnitude equal to multiples of 1/NT Hz, which may preserve the spectrum of the received echo energy, forming in combination a composite signal frequency spectrum.
