    摘要： An oxygen therapy face mask has a face engaging portion and a valve assembly connected thereto. The valve assembly has a first passage communicating with the interior of the face engaging portion from which gas can flow into the face engaging portion and into a patient's mouth and nose and which can also receive gas from a patient's mouth and nose and the interior of the face engaging portion. A first one-way valve is associated with the first passage and a second passage connectable to an oxygen reservoir bag and to an external source of pressurized oxygen. The first one-way valve is operable to permit flow of gas from the second passage to the first passage and to prevent flow of gas from the first passage to the second passage. A second one-way valve is associated with the first passage and is operable to permit flow of gas from the first passage to the external atmosphere and to prevent flow of gas from the external atmosphere to the first passage. A third one-way valve is associated with the first passage and is operable to permit flow of gas from the external atmosphere to the first passage and to prevent flow of gas from the first passage to the external atmosphere. A patient can inhale oxygen which passes from the second passage through the first one-way valve and can also inhale air from the external atmosphere through the third one-way valve if sufficient oxygen is not available in the second passage.

The outer housing may have an extended longitudinal dimension, coupled directly to the reflector dish or the end of a shortened boom arm. The feed may be oriented with respect to the reflector dish in an offset single or dual optic configuration. The feed and or a sub reflector may be integral with the outer housing.

    摘要： A CPR face mask has a face engaging part positionable on the face of a patient to surround at least the mouth of the patient. An air flow control valve is carried by the face engaging part and has an upper inlet into which air can be blown by a CPR giving person and which passes downwardly through a first outlet into a patient's mouth. The flow control valve causes air passing upwardly from the patient's mouth into the first outlet to be released to the external atmosphere through a second outlet without passing to the inlet. The flow control valve has a flexible diaphragm operable to prevent air flow from the inlet to the second outlet when the CPR giving person is blowing into the inlet and to prevent air flow from the first outlet to the inlet when air passes upwardly from the patient's mouth into the first outlet. A filter is located immediately upstream of the diaphragm with respect to air flow blown into the first inlet by the CPR giving person. The diaphragm having a filter-blocking position assumed during patient exhalation to protect the filter from patient-expired condensate.

    摘要： A manually-operable resuscitator operable also to inject medication into air being supplied to a patient. The resuscitator has a resiliently compressible air bag having an inlet and an outlet. The inlet has a one-way valve through which air passes into the bag from the atmosphere and a patient valve through which air flows in passing from the bag to the patient. The patient valve has a one-way valve member through which air flows in passing from the bag to the patient. The patient valve also has a passage extending from the atmosphere to the interior thereof adjacent to the one-way valve member and upstream thereof through which medication can be injected into the air as it passes from the bag to the one-way valve member.

    摘要： A CPR mannequin for practicing cardiopulmonary resuscitation of a human has a simulated human head and neck portion with an air passage extending from a mouth opening to a neck opening in an end of the neck remote from the head. An inflatable simulated human chest portion is secured to the neck and has an upper flexible wall member, a lower wall member and a flexible bag therebetween and a further air passage connects the air passage in the neck to the flexible bag. The upper flexible wall member simulates a chest which rises and falls with inflation and deflation of the flexible bag.
