摘要： An improved display substrate is provided to reduce surface defects on insulating layers of organic thin film transistors. Related methods of manufacture are also provided. In one example, a display substrate includes a base, a plurality of data lines, a plurality of gate lines, a pixel defined by the data lines and the gate lines, an organic thin film transistor, and a pixel electrode. The data lines are on the base and are oriented in a first direction. The gate lines are oriented in a second direction that crosses the first direction. The organic thin film transistor includes a source electrode electrically connected to one of the data lines, a gate electrode electrically connected to one of the gate lines, and an organic semiconductor layer. The pixel electrode is disposed in the pixel and electrically connected to the organic thin film transistor. The pixel electrode comprises a transparent oxynitride.

摘要： A swing hinge device of a portable terminal that can move in a straight line or a curved direction when a folder rotates is provided. The portable terminal includes a body housing, a display unit, a folder rotating about first and second hinge axes on the body housing, and a connection member rotatively connecting the folder with the body housing. The swing hinge device includes a base member coupled to the connection member; a rotation member coupled to the folder; first and second guide pins; a first guide member coupled to the first guide pin, for guiding the straight movement of the first guide pin when the rotation member rotates about the second hinge axis; and a second guide member, coupled to the second guide pin, for guiding the curved movement of the second guide pin when the rotation member rotates about the second hinge axis.

摘要： An apparatus and method for controlling noise caused by vibration in a camera module for a mobile device are provided. The method includes transmitting a vibration signal sensed by a vibration sensor to a Choice Coil Motor (VCM) driver based on the vibration signal, applying, by the VCM driver, a reverse bias to a VCM upon receiving, by the VCM driver, the vibration signal from the vibration sensor, and exerting, by the VCM to which the reverse bias is applied, an electromagnetic force in a reverse direction in order to fix and halt an actuator.

摘要： Disclosed is an apparatus and a method for executing a mouse pointer function in a portable terminal equipped with a camera. The method includes: capturing an external image signal by a camera module; sampling the external image signal and converting a sampled image signal into image data; mapping a group of pixels of the image data generated by the sampling to a group of pixels of an image sensor for each unit pixel on a one-to-one basis; detecting coordinate values of all image data including a point light source in the group of the mapped pixels; determining if a point light source is actually included in all of the image data including the point light source; and activating the detected coordinate values of all of the image data including the point light source and displaying the activated coordinate values on a screen.

摘要： An OCB (Optically Compensated Bend) liquid crystal display in which impulse driving is performed such that an impulse data voltage is applied between normal data voltages used for displaying an image. The impulse data voltage is divided into a first impulse data voltage and a second impulse data voltage having a voltage value that will not break a bent alignment of the OCB liquid crystals. Referring to the application of the first impulse data voltage between the normal data voltages as first impulse driving and the application of the second impulse data voltage between the normal data voltages as second impulse driving, the second impulse driving is performed at every two or more of the first impulse drivings, so as to not break the bent alignment of the liquid crystals and to thereby improve luminance of the LCD.
