摘要： An improved display substrate is provided to reduce surface defects on insulating layers of organic thin film transistors. Related methods of manufacture are also provided. In one example, a display substrate includes a base, a plurality of data lines, a plurality of gate lines, a pixel defined by the data lines and the gate lines, an organic thin film transistor, and a pixel electrode. The data lines are on the base and are oriented in a first direction. The gate lines are oriented in a second direction that crosses the first direction. The organic thin film transistor includes a source electrode electrically connected to one of the data lines, a gate electrode electrically connected to one of the gate lines, and an organic semiconductor layer. The pixel electrode is disposed in the pixel and electrically connected to the organic thin film transistor. The pixel electrode comprises a transparent oxynitride.

摘要： A conductive structure containing copper is capable of being etched to have a reliable profile where the copper layer is free of corrosion or oxidation includes a barrier layer formed on an insulating or semiconductor substrate followed by a copper layer, a blocking layer and a capping layer. The copper layer includes copper or copper alloy. The barrier layer includes molybdenum (Mo), molybdenum nitride (MoN) or molybdenum alloy which includes at least one of MoW, MoTi, MoNb or MoZr. The blocking layer includes copper nitride, copper oxide or copper oxinitride. The capping layer includes molybdenum, molybdenum nitride (MoN) or molybdenum alloy which includes at least one of MoW, MoTi, MoNb and MoZr.

The swing hinge device includes a base member coupled to the connection member; a rotation member coupled to the folder; first and second guide pins; a first guide member coupled to the first guide pin, for guiding the straight movement of the first guide pin when the rotation member rotates about the second hinge axis; and a second guide member, coupled to the second guide pin, for guiding the curved movement of the second guide pin when the rotation member rotates about the second hinge axis.

The size of the protrusion patterns in a first reflective area having the light hole is different from that in a second reflective area having no light hole, and the size of the protrusion patterns at the center of the first reflective area may be larger than that in the second reflective area.

摘要： A liquid crystal display (“LCD”) includes forming only a λ/4 plate between a polarizer and a display panel and setting a direction of an absorption axis of the polarizer and a slow axis of the λ/4 plate, so that the LCD can have a smaller thickness and its fabrication cost can be reduced while having better or the same characteristics than an LCD using both λ/2 and λ/4 plates. In addition, in an ECB mode backlit LCD, transmittance, contrast ratio, and viewing angles can be enhanced by attaching both the λ/4 or λ/2 plate and allowing the absorption axis of the polarizer and the slow axis of the λ/4 and λ/2 plates to have predetermined angle relationships.

摘要： A display substrate having a low-resistance metallic layer and a method of manufacturing the display substrate. The gate conductors are extended in a first direction. The source conductors are extended in a second direction crossing the first direction including a lower layer of molybdenum or a molybdenum alloy, and an upper layer of aluminum or an aluminum alloy. The pixel areas are defined by the gate conductors and the source conductors. A switching element is formed in each of the pixel areas and includes a gate electrode extended from the gate conductor and a source electrode extended from the source conductor. The pixel electrode includes a transparent conductive material, and is electrically connected to a drain electrode of the switching element.
