摘要： An orbital downhole separator for separating well fluids into constituents of different specific gravities. Specifically, it is designed to separate water from oil or gas. The apparatus comprises a housing with a rotating member therein driven by a motor in the housing. Well fluid flows through the rotating member and is subjected to centrifugal force to separate the components. A flow conditioner is used to facilitate separation. The invention includes several different versions of the flow conditioner including an impeller, a stator and controllers for controlling the speed of the motor in response to signals related to the amount of petroleum in the water.

摘要： A steering system for a guided vehicle comprises a coupling device for coing the steering axle actuating linkage both to a detector for guiding the vehicle along a guidance reference member and to a steering gear, the coupling device comprising first and second elements respectively mechanically linked to the steering gear and the detector and mounted for movement along first and second guide bars, each element being movable between first and second positions on its guide bar, the guide bars being so coupled to the actuating linkage that an element in the first position transmits movement to the actuating linkage and in the second position is ineffective to transmit such movement.

摘要： A storage rack system to be installed on a floor has a plurality of columns, is more flexible in a down aisle dimension than it is in a cross aisle dimension, and has at least a first column and a second column adjacent one another in the cross aisle dimension. A storage rack vibration isolator for use with this storage rack system comprises at least one seismic vibration absorption and dissipation structure constructed to be located primarily between the first and second columns to reduce the storage rack system's natural frequency in at least the cross aisle dimension. The seismic vibration absorption and dissipation structure includes a first member connectable to the storage rack system and a second member connectable to the floor. At least one column support assembly is mountable to at least the first and second columns to enable them to move with respect to the floor. A structure limits the movement of the first and second columns to substantially the cross aisle dimension.

摘要： A games apparatus for use in the game of "keno" includes an enclosure which is rotatable about two perpendicular axes. The enclosure consists of two spaced chambers lying along one of the axes with the chambers being connected by a passage which will allow objects contained within the chambers to pass between the chambers. Upon rotation of the enclosure about the two axes, the objects are arranged randomly so that a random sample of the objects may be selected from the enclosure.
