摘要： A device for holding a laser diode (LD) and a collimate lens. A laser unit includes an LD supporting section supporting the LD, and a lens supporting section supporting the lens positioned opposite to the LD, A connecting portion connects the lens supporting section to the LD supporting section. An adjustment section for adjusting a relative position between the LD and the lens is provided in association with the LD supporting section. The adjustment section allows the LD supporting section to be movable and position-fixable with respect to the lens supporting section as if the LD supporting section serves as a leverage about the connecting portion functioning as a fulcrum.

Therefore, an apparatus for producing an organic EL display device comprises a first unit for carrying a supporting substrate in, a second unit for heating at least the supporting substrate before forming an organic luminescence medium, thereby performing a dehydration treatment, a third unit for forming the organic luminescence medium and an upper element, and a fourth unit for sealing the periphery of the apparatus with a sealing member, wherein the first unit is arranged between the second unit and the third unit, a first carrying device is set up in the first unit, and a second carrying device is arranged between the third unit and the fourth unit.

摘要： An organic electroluminescent device including a cathode 50, an anode 20, and an emitting layer interposed between the cathode 50 and the anode 20, at least a part of the anode 20 in contact with the emitting layer 40 containing at least one element selected from lanthanum, cerium, neodymium, samarium, and europium, and at least one element selected from chromium, tungsten, tantalum, niobium, silver, palladium, copper, nickel, cobalt, molybdenum, platinum, and silicon. Since holes are efficiently injected into the emitting layer from the anode, the drive voltage of the organic EL device can be decreased, whereby the lifetime of the organic EL device can be increased.

The user interface unit of the scene origination equipment displays on the display screen of the display device. The setting of the shape of the displayed graph is accepted on the display screen, and the relationship between the distance from the generated point of the cursor and the density of the generated point is determined in accordance with the accepted setting of the shape of the graph. The image generation unit of the scene origination equipment displays the cursor on the display screen, and generates an image in which the point generated with the cursor and points vicinal to the generated point are drawn at densities conforming to the determined relationship. The rendering apparatus generates a video graphic in which the generated image is mapped on an object and displays the video graphic on the display screen.

摘要： A color image recording device for forming a mask member having a positioning mask thereon and exposing a photosensitive medium through the mask member to light to form a color image on the photosensitive medium, comprising belt for carrying the mask member thereon, two belt supporting rollers spaced at an interval and independently movable in a feeding direction of the mask member and in a vertical direction thereto, stepping motors for moving the belt supporting rollers, a sensor for detecting the position of the positioning mark and a control unit for controlling the stepping motors to register the mask member. According to one aspect of this invention, the stepping motors are controlled by the control unit to change a feeding speed of the mask member at two or more stages in accordance with an output signal from the sensor by switching the excited phases of the stepping motors or by changing an electric power supplied to at least one of the stepping motors.

摘要： In forming a color picture image on a photosensitive recording medium by exposing through a masking master plate, the plate is conveyed by a conveyor belt into an exposure device where the plate must be registered in a specified position to avoid a color shift in the image formed on the photosensitive recording medium. A positional error or deviation of the plate is detected by reading out a location mark on the plate by a plurality of sensors. According to the outputs from the sensors, the conveyor belt is moved in a longitudinal path by one or two motors to correct a longitudinal deviation, and two longitudinally spaced portions of a belt support unit are moved, in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal path, independently and respectively by other two motors to correct a transverse deviation and/or a skew.
