    Abstract: The invention relates to an analyzing grid for phase contrast imaging and/or dark-field imaging, a detector arrangement for phase contrast imaging and/or dark-field imaging comprising such analyzing grid, an X-ray imaging system comprising such detector arrangement, a method for manufacturing such analyzing grid, a computer program element for controlling such analyzing grid or detector arrangement for performing such method and a computer readable medium having stored such computer program element. The analyzing grid comprises a number of X-ray converting gratings. The X-ray converting gratings are configured to convert incident X-ray radiation into light or charge. The number of X-ray converting gratings comprises at least a first X-ray converting grating and a second X-ray converting grating. Further, the X-ray converting gratings each comprise an array of grating bars, wherein the grating bars within each X-ray converting grating are arranged mutually displaced from each other in a direction perpendicular to the incident X-ray radiation by a specific displacement pitch. Further, the grating bars of the first X-ray converting grating are arranged mutually displaced from the grating bars of the second X-ray converting grating in the direction perpendicular to the incident X-ray radiation by the displacement pitch divided by the number of X-ray converting gratings.

    Abstract: The grating device (1) for an X-ray imaging device comprises a grating arrangement (10) and an actuation arrangement (20). The grating arrangement (10) comprises a plurality of grating segments (11). The actuation arrangement (20) is configured to move the plurality of grating segments (11) with at least a rotational component between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the grating segments (11) are arranged in the path of an X-ray beam (30), so that the grating segments (11) influence portions of the X-ray beam (30). In the second position, the grating segments (11) are arranged outside the portions of the path of an X-ray beam (30), so that the portions of the X-ray beam (30) are unaffected by the grating segments (11).

    Abstract: The invention relates to X-ray imaging. In order to improve flexibility, for example in relation with phase-contrast imaging, the X-ray imaging device (10) comprises an X-ray source arrangement for providing an X-ray beam (11). Further, it is provided at least one grating (13, 14) and a line detector (15) with a plurality of sensor lines, which sensor lines are each provided by a plurality of sensor elements, and which sensor lines are provided for detecting respective portions of the X-ray beam (11) passing the at least one grating during operation. The X-ray imaging device is arranged for moving the line detector (15) and an object (21) to be imaged relative to each other, such that in response to the portions of the X-ray beam a number of interference patterns are detectable at respective different relative positions of the line detector and the object for reconstructing an image of the object (21). The at least one grating (13, 14) comprises at least one first segment (161) and at least one second segment (162) arranged adjacent to each other in a direction perpendicular to the direction of the line detector (15). The X-ray imaging device is arranged for moving the line detector (15) and the at least one grating relative to each other between at least a first relative position and a second relative position, such that in the first relative position, a portion of the X-ray beam (11) during operation passes through the at least one first segment (161), while the at least one second segment (162) is arranged outside said portion of the X-ray beam (11), and that in the second relative position, said portion of the X-ray beam (11) during operation passes through the at least one second segment (162), while the at least one first segment (161) is arranged outside said portion of the X-ray beam (11).

The grating device comprises a grating unit, an actuation unit, a motion detecting unit, and a control unit. The actuation unit is configured to position the grating unit in different sampling positions relative to the moveable object. The motion detecting unit is configured to detect a motion of the movable object. The detected motion of the moveable object may be a repetitive motion. The control unit is configured to control the actuation unit to position the grating unit in the different sampling positions based on the detected motion of the movable object.
