    Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a determination section, an acquisition section, a generation section, a notification section, and a management section. The determination section determines, when receiving a print job from a predetermined terminal apparatus via a network, whether or not the print job is a private print job. If the print job is a private print job, the acquisition section acquires, from another image forming apparatus coupled to a self-apparatus to communicate with the self-apparatus, information regarding the another image forming apparatus. The generation section generates a one time password on the basis of the acquired information. The notification section notifies the terminal apparatus of the generated one time password. The management section manages the generated one time password in association with the private print job and, when receiving the one time password from a user, executes the private print job associated with the one time password.

    Abstract: An image forming apparatus has a trial printing mode in which, when printing of a plurality of sheets of an image of a read document is requested, one sheet is printed first, the printing is interrupted once, and then the remaining sheets are printed after the interruption of the printing is released. The image forming apparatus has an image reading device, a printing unit, a judgment unit, and a control unit. The image reading device reads an image of a document. The printing unit prints an image on paper. The judgment unit judges whether or not an image read by the image reading device is outside an image formation region of paper to be printed by the printing unit. When the judgment unit judges that the image is outside the image formation region of the paper, the control unit controls the image forming apparatus to enter the trial printing mode.

    Abstract: An image forming apparatus has a sheet reading portion, an assimilation surveying portion, a color changing portion, and a printing portion. The sheet reading portion reads image data from a transparent sheet tinted with a predetermined color owned by a user. The assimilation surveying portion looks for, out of printable colors, a particular color that assimilates to the color of the read image data. The color changing portion changes, out of the data of a predetermined document accepted from the user, the color of the data of a concealable character, which is a character concealed when overlaid with the transparent sheet, to the found particular color. The printing portion prints, out of the data of the document, the data of the concealable character in the particular color.
