    摘要: Provided is a pressure-sensitive adhesive label, which does not use release paper to save resources and alleviate an environmental burden and which can be formed thin so that the a pressure-sensitive adhesive label can be rolled into an elongated roll. The pressure-sensitive adhesive label includes an indication layer, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer placed on the indication layer, and a functional layer placed on the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. The functional layer is openable by heating to expose the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. Consequently, the functional layer can be opened stably with low activation energy, and hence the pressure-sensitive adhesive label is suitable for a portable label issuing device.

    摘要: To provide a product history management apparatus and the like capable of managing a history of a product from its production to delivery to consumers. Label IDs are issued for all steps from raw material production to retail product production (retailer and food-service distributor) and a label ID issued this time and a label ID issued in the last step are associated to keep a history of the label IDs, making it possible to grasp a production or distribution history from raw material production to final product production. A label management server issues a label ID and label issuing apparatuses provided for each step print labels. The label management server manages the history of the label IDs and the label issuing apparatuses manage detailed information related to products in each step. Detailed information related to the product can be stored while being distributed to each label issuing apparatus, making it possible to reduce a load on the label management server.

The printer (3) prints the thinned-out digital watermark information and the human-readable information in a superimposed manner.

    摘要: The invention discloses an improvement in the photo-lithographic patterning process of a photoresist layer in the manufacture of semiconductor devices in which occurrence of defects in the patterned resist layer can be greatly suppressed resulting in increased reliability of the semiconductor devices and productivity thereof. The improvement can be accomplished by using a chemical-amplification positive-working photoresist composition which exhibits a rate of film thickness reduction in the range from 0.09 to 1.0 nm/second when the photoresist layer before light-exposure is kept in a 2.38% aqueous solution of tetramethylammonium hydroxide at 23° C. to dissolve away the resist layer.

    摘要: Techniques for providing an ID image on a print medium are disclosed. Commodity information on a commodity settled in a store is received from a store terminal installed at the store. ID images, defining ID information in a frequency domain and accompanied by attribute information that is used by the store terminal to decide whether or not each of the stored ID images is to be printed, are stored. A correspondence between the commodity information and the stored ID images is also stored. ID images corresponding to the received commodity information from the stored ID images using the stored correspondence are then retrieved. An attribute list, which registers the attribute information of the stored ID images that is used by the store terminal to decide whether or not each of the stored ID images is to be printed, is stored. Thereafter, only the retrieved ID images which have been decided to be printed based on the stored attribute list are transmitted. The transmitted ID images are then printed on a print medium.
