Abstract:
This invention relates to cameras operable to select one film supply system from either a normal wind-up system or a preparatory wind-up system. The camera has a selector switch for selecting one of the film supply systems, and an inhibiting means for inhibiting that the two systems are applied to one film by the switch, a write means for recording selected information onto a film or a storage device provided in the cartridge, and a read means for reading the selected information and the frame information written in the device. The switch selects a film supply system which is indicated by the selected information read out from the device of the loaded film by the read means. Additionally, a film supply means is provided for preparing and supplying the film in accordance with the frame information read out by the read means. The film supply means can wind up the film to supply even when either of the two film supply systems is set. The selection of the film supply system can be changed by the switch only before the first frame is photographed. A counter is provided for inhibit that the first frame of the film is supplied to the photographing position more than predetermined times in response to the change in the film supply system selected by the switch.
Abstract:
A film holder for storing a processed film is provided with a film holding section including a film container capable of accommodating a processed film to allow the film to be viewed therethrough and an information recording medium in which is recorded printing conditions concerning the processed film, and an information holding section provided on the film container for holding the information recording medium. The information holding section may be arranged to record information in electrical, magnetic or optical form. The film container may have a pair of film spools which support a processed film and an observation window which allows one frame of the processed film to be viewed therethrough. The information holding section may be arranged to hold information relative to a printing process including color-correction information and the like.
Abstract:
An information recording control apparatus in a camera is provided with reproducing means for reproducing information pre-recorded on film, recording means for recording information on the film, evaluation means for evaluating a state in which a signal is recorded on the film on the basis of the output state of the reproduction signal by the reproducing means, and control means for setting the recording condition of the recording means in conformity with the result of the evaluation by the evaluation means. The evaluation means evaluates the reproduction signal when the reproducing means reproduces the information pre-recorded on the film, and the control means sets the recording condition of the recording means in conformity with the result of the evaluation.
Abstract:
A camera is so structured that trimming photographing in which the F-number of the photographing optical system does not change is preferentially selected for the zoom-up photographing of a dark object field, so that the shutter time does not extend unnecessarily and the risk of hand-vibrated photographing is reduced.
Abstract:
A camera has an exposure device for effecting a photographing operation on a film in response to manipulation of a member, and a self-timer for causing the exposure device to effect the photographing operation after the counting of a predetermined time. The self-timer has a first state for causing the exposure device to effect the photographing operation only once and a second state for causing the exposure device to effect the photographing operation plural times. The camera comprises a first display for indicating that the self-timer is in an operable state, a second display for indicating that the exposure device functions plural times in response to the manipulation of the number, independently of the self-timer, and a control device for controlling the first and second display. The control device is adapted to only activate the first display in the first state of the self-timer and to activate both the first and second displays in the second state of the self-timer.
Abstract:
A flashlight photographing device includes a phototaking lens barrel capable of operatively associating an aperture setting member and a distance adjust member so that the product of an aperture value set by the aperture setting member and an object distance given by the distance adjust member maintains a predetermined value related to the quantity of emitted light of a flash device. The phototaking lens barrel includes structure for releasing the operative association between the aperture setting member and the distance adjust member. The releasing structure is capable of restraining the operation of one of the aperture setting member and the distance adjust member during the operation of the other of such members.
Abstract:
an electronic camera includes: an image-capturing unit that creates an image by capturing an image of a subject; an enlarged image generating unit that creates an enlarged image by enlarging a portion of the image created by the image-capturing unit; an optical viewfinder that enables verification of a subject range corresponding to a range of the image created by the image-capturing unit; and a warning output unit that issues a warning when the enlarged image generating unit is in operation.
Abstract:
The object of the present invention is to provide a digital camera system capable of transmitting image information suitable for the purpose of image usage in a peripheral. Special information in connection with an application program used in the peripheral is output to a digital camera, an image data processed in the digital camera on the basis of the special information is output to the peripheral, and the peripheral executes the application program by inputting the processed image data into the application program. The special information is the size of a character, the number of colors, resolution, and the like used in the application program.
Abstract:
An image recording apparatus records image files on a recording medium. The image recording apparatus automatically selects disused files and automatically deletes them at the appropriate timing. A storage device acquires an image file from, e.g., an imaging component or an external terminal and records the image file together with time information on a recording medium. A controller monitors the recording area of the recording medium and automatically deletes image files for which the time information is old in accordance with the monitored usage status of the recording area.
