    摘要: A wellbore apparatus may include first and second tubular members joined together in end-to-end relation, the first tubular member having a reduced outer diameter end portion. The wellbore apparatus may further include a removable modular antenna assembly comprising a cylindrical dielectric housing removably positioned on the reduced outer diameter end portion of the first tubular member, at least one antenna coil carried by the cylindrical dielectric housing, and a first electrical connector coupled to the at least one antenna coil. The wellbore apparatus may also include resistivity processing circuitry coupled to the first electrical connector to determine an electrical resistivity of a wellbore based upon the at least one antenna coil.

    摘要: An electric power generator includes a conduit disposed in a wellbore penetrating subsurface formations and at least one piezoelectric transducer in contact with the conduit. The piezoelectric transducer is configured to undergo stress in response to vibration in the conduit. The transducer includes a plurality of piezoelectric crystals stacked in a thickness direction and each polarized in the thickness direction. The transducer comprises at least one of a composite rubber layer disposed between successive piezoelectric crystals, and at least one support at a longitudinal end of the transducer configured to cause the crystals to bend in response to vibration in the conduit.

    摘要: Acoustic transducers configured with transducer elements disposed on an arch or arcuate shaped member adapted to fit in juxtaposition around a tubular. The arcuate shaped member is adapted with conductors to provide a voltage to the transducer elements. One embodiment uses a metallic arcuate shaped member. Embodiments implemented as sources are used to excite borehole acoustic modes. Some embodiments provide phased array acoustic energy excitation/signal reception. The transducers are covered with a sealer in a liquid-free configuration and shields are used to protect the transducers.

The wellbore apparatus may include resistivity processing circuitry coupled to the electrical connector to determine an electrical resistivity of a wellbore based upon the antenna coil.
