Abstract: A device for forming and pressing a mouth piece of a container comprising fibers, for example pulp, wherein the device comprises a mold for surrounding at least one outer surface of a mouth region of the container in which the mouth piece is to be formed, wherein the mold comprises a structure for forming the mouth piece. The device also comprises a mandrel for introduction into an opening of the mouth region and a movement means for performing a relative movement between the mold and the mandrel to reduce a clearance of the mold and the mandrel, and thus to form and press the mouth piece. This disclosure also includes a method for forming and pressing a mouth piece of a container comprising fibers, for example pulp, using the device.

Abstract: A stretch blow moulding machine and method are provided for forming a container. A preform is expanded to a first configuration in a blow mould of a stretch blow moulding machine. A stretching rod element is introduced to the blow mould to expand the preform from the first configuration to a second configuration. The stretching rod element moves axially in the blow mould in a stretching direction. The plastic perform is temporarily coupled to the stretching rod element during at least a period of time of the expansion of the preform from the first configuration to the second configuration for influencing a behavior of the perform during the expansion.

Abstract: A method is described for shaping the bottom of hot-filled containers, in which the bottoms of the containers are forced inwardly from a state bulged outwardly, in particular as they cool down. Complex mechanisms for forcing the bottom inwardly are dispensable for the reason that the bottoms are forced inwardly by at least one fluid jet and/or fluid pressure wave. In addition, shaping the bottom can advantageously be carried out in a production region immediately downstream of a closer.

Abstract: A method for transforming plastic preforms into plastic bottles, in which preforms are introduced into blowing stations, each blowing station having at least one blow mold and a stretching rod for stretching the preform along a longitudinal axis of the preform within the blow mold, and the preforms are expanded to form the plastic bottles by being acted upon by a gaseous medium in the blow mold, wherein a wall thickness of the plastic container is measured by at least one measuring device which outputs the measured values to a closed-loop and/or open-loop control device, wherein at least a stretching speed of the stretching rod is varied by the closed-loop and/or open-loop control device at least at times and/or at least in some locations during the blowing operation, individually for each blowing station, in order to adjust a wall thickness of the plastic bottles.
