Abstract: A palette, such as for providing choices of a makeup includes a base enclosing a drawer. The drawer includes pans within pan compartments. The base has a drawer compartment from which the drawer can slide in and out. The pan is retained in the pan compartment by application of a force that presses on the bottom of the pan, and the top of the pan presses against a frame or lid. The pan is removable from the pan compartment when the drawer is slid out from the base to expose an opening in the pan compartment through which the pan is removed. When the drawer includes a fixed frame on top, the pan can slide out from the front of the drawer, and when the drawer includes lids on top, the pan can be removed from the top as well as the front of the drawer.

Abstract: Cartridges are configurable between a closed state and an open state. The cartridges include a cartridge body and a reservoir disposed in the cartridge body. The cartridge body has an outer locking element, and the reservoir has a rotational locking element. In the closed state, the outer locking element engages the rotational locking element such that the reservoir cannot be rotated out of a first rotational position relative to the cartridge body in which a fluid outlet of the reservoir is not in fluid communication with a fluid outlet of the cartridge body. In the open state, the outer locking element of the cartridge body does not engage the rotational locking element of the reservoir, and the reservoir is in a second rotational position relative to the cartridge body such that the fluid outlet of the reservoir is in fluid communication with the fluid outlet of the cartridge body.

Abstract: Cosmetic powder containers with powder accumulation management systems are provided to reduce waste and mess related to the loss of cosmetic powder. In general, examples of systems described herein generally include a sifter positioned above the cosmetic powder with apertures configured for bi-directional pass-through of cosmetic powder. In some examples, the sifter is dome-shaped with a concave upper surface. To manage accumulation of cosmetic powder on an upper surface of the sifter, a sweeper projection is provided to collect cosmetic powder on the upper surface and direct the cosmetic powder toward the apertures of the sifter for pass-through back into the container. In this regard, accumulation of cosmetic powder on the upper surface of the sifter is managed, limiting waste and mess during use of the cosmetic powder.
