Abstract: A flexible display device includes a touch electrode array including a buffer layer with a through hole in the buffer layer, a touch pad metal electrode in the through hole, a plurality of touch patterns on the buffer layer, and a flexible printed circuit contacting the touch pad electrode. Optionally, the flexible printed circuit can also contact a thin-film transistor pad on an organic light emitting array substrate laminated to the touch electrode array.

Abstract: Disclosed is a flexible display device that includes a backplane substrate having an active area and a non-display area outside the display area, the active area having a plurality of pixels defined with a plurality of gate lines and a plurality of data lines, wherein the backplane substrate is defined with a folding axis with reference to which the display device is folded or bended and a folding area in which a radius of curvature remains substantially the same as a radius of curvature at the folding axis located at a center of the folding area when the display device is folded or bended; a plurality of embedded drivers on the backplane substrate in the non-display area, wherein two of the embedded drivers are spaced apart from each other outside the folding area with the folding area therebetween; and a plurality of link wires between the plurality of embedded drivers and the active area, electrically connecting the plurality of embedded drivers and one of the plurality of gate lines and the plurality of data lines.

Abstract: An electrophoretic display device includes a switching element on a substrate including a display area having a pixel region and a non-display area at a periphery of the display area, a passivation layer covering the switching element, a pixel electrode on the passivation layer and connected to the switching element, an electrophoresis film on the pixel electrode and including an ink layer and a base film, wherein the ink layer includes a plurality of charged particles, and the base film is formed of polyethylene terephthalate, a common electrode for generating an electric field with the pixel electrode to drive the electrophoresis film, and a color filter layer directly on the electrophoresis film, wherein the color filter layer is formed under temperatures of less than 100 degrees of Celsius.
