    Abstract: Provided are a method for a user equipment (UE) to perform early data transmission (EDT) in a wireless communication, and an apparatus supporting the same. The method may include: transmitting a first radio resource control (RRC) message for the EDT, to a base station; receiving a second RRC message in response to the first RRC message, from the base station; if the second RRC message indicates that the EDT is successful, considering that the EDT ends successfully; if the second RRC message indicates that the EDT is unsuccessful, considering that the EDT ends unsuccessfully; and entering a RRC_IDLE state.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to transmitting a response message in wireless communications. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method performed by a wireless device served by a master node (MN) and a secondary node (SN) in a dual connectivity (DC) in a wireless communication system comprises: receiving, from the MN via a signalling radio bearer 1 (SRB1), a conditional primary secondary cell change (CPC) command related to a radio resource control (RRC) reconfiguration message of which a RRC transaction identifier (ID) is set; performing a CPC execution based on that a CPC condition in the CPC command is satisfied; and transmitting, to the MN, an RRC message of which no RRC transaction ID is set based on the CPC execution, wherein the RRC message comprises a RRC reconfiguration complete message of which the RRC transaction ID is set.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for support of energy efficient operation of a wireless device, e.g., a user equipment (UE), in a 5th generation new radio access technology (5G NR) is provided. A source node acquires information related to power consumption of a wireless device and transmits a message for initiation of handover. The message includes information related to energy efficiency of the wireless device. The information related to energy efficiency is based on the information related to power consumption of the wireless device. The target node performs admission control and/or resource allocation for the wireless device based on the information related to energy efficiency of the wireless device.

    Abstract: Provided are a method of estimating mobility state of UE and a device supporting the method. According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, the method includes: receiving information on neighbor cell from a serving cell, wherein the information informs to which group the neighbor cell belongs; performing cell change from the serving cell to the neighbor cell; when the neighbor cell belongs to a first group, counting the cell change; when the neighbor cell belongs to a second group, skipping counting the cell change; and reporting a number of counted cell change for estimating mobility state of the UE, wherein the first group and the second group are configured based on altitude of the UE.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for provision of random access channel (RACH) related information for connection failure detection in a new radio access technology (NR) is provided. For example, a first gNB receives, from a wireless device, random access channel (RACH) related information and cell information for a radio link failure (RLF), and transmits, to a second gNB, the RACH related information and the cell information for the RLF. For another example, a gNB central unit (gNB-CU) of a first gNB receives, from a second gNB, RACH related information and cell information for RLF, and transmits, to a gNB distributed unit (gNB-DU) of the first gNB, information for an RACH configuration based on the RACH related information and the cell information for the RLF.
