Abstract: In the present disclosure, a transmitting device transmits a first message comprising i) a first random access preamble with a first random access preamble identifier (RAPID) and ii) a first uplink payload; receives a random access response (RAR) medium access control (MAC) protocol data unit (PDU) including i) a first field set to represent presence of one or more RAPIDs and ii) the one or more RAPIDs; determines whether both of the first RAP and the first payload is successfully transmitted, based on whether the one or more RAPIDs include the first RAPID; and monitors a second message related to the first message based on determining that both of the first RAP and the first payload is successfully transmitted.

Abstract: A method for processing downlink (DL) signals by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system is disclosed. Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of performing a discontinuous reception (DRX) operation by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system. In particular, the method includes the steps of: monitoring a wake up-signal (WUS) periodically in WUS transmission opportunities; if the WUS is successfully detected in the WUS transmission opportunities and if the WUS indicates to wake up, monitoring a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) during a first DRX ON duration; and if the WUS is not successfully detected in the WUS transmission opportunities, monitoring the PDCCH during a second DRX ON duration, wherein the second DRX ON duration is longer than the first DRX ON duration.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for performing uplink transmissions by a user equipment in a wireless communication system. In particular, the method includes the steps of: transmitting a data unit to a network using a configured uplink grant; receiving an uplink grant for retransmission of the data unit from the network; determining a retransmission timing using a parameter related to a retransmission delay; and retransmitting the data unit to the network using the uplink grant for retransmission on the determined retransmission timing. Especially, the configured uplink grant is shared by the user equipment and another user equipment, and the parameter indicates at least one instance of retransmission delay.

The MAC PDU includes a MAC subheader. The MAC subheader includes a first indicator field regarding whether the MAC subheader include an RAP identity (ID) or not. The MAC subheader further includes a second indicator field regarding whether the MAC subheader includes a backoff indicator field or not, based on the first indicator field set to a value indicating that the MAC subheader does not include an RAP ID.
