Abstract: In a wireless local area network (WLAN) system, an STA MLD may include a first STA and a second STA, wherein the first STA operates on a first link, and the second STA operates on a second link. The STA MLD may transmit an association request frame to an access point (AP) MLD. The association request frame may include capability information of a requesting STA, which requests to be associated with the AP MLD, among STAs included in the STA MLD and information related to a request link, to with which a request to be associated is transmitted by the requesting STAs. The STA MLD may receive an association response frame from the AP MLD. The association response frame may include capability information of an AP that operates in a link, an association with which is accepted by the AP MLD, among the request links.

Abstract: Proposed are a method and a device for requesting partial information on APs in a transmission MLD in a WLAN system. Specifically, a receiving MLD transmits a probe request frame to a transmission MLD through a first link. The receiving MLD receives a probe response frame from the transmission MLD through the first link. The probe request frame includes a profile field of the second receiving STA. The profile field of the second receiving STAincludes a first full information profile subfield. When the first receiving STA requests partial information on the second link, the value of the first full information profile subfield is set to 0, and the profile field of the second receiving STA further includes a first request element. The partial information on the second link is requested on the basis of the first request element.
