    Abstract: Disclosed is a compressor. A lubrication surface, which has the same curvature as an inner circumferential surface curvature of a cylinder and which has a predetermined circumference length, is formed on an outer circumferential surface of a roller contacting an inner circumferential surface of the cylinder. With such a configuration, since the outer circumferential surface of the roller contacting the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder come in surface-contact with each other, an oil film is formed between the roller and the cylinder with a wide area. This can reduce a frictional loss.

    Abstract: A vane rotary compressor may include a main bearing and a sub bearing provided with a plurality of back pressure pockets each having a different pressure formed on a surface facing the cylinder, a rotational shaft radially supported by the main bearing and the sub bearing, a roller provided with a back pressure chamber that communicates with the plurality of back pressure pockets and having a plurality of vanes configured to divide a compression space into a plurality of compression chambers. At least one of the main bearing or the sub bearing is provided with an oil supply passage that communicates with a back pressure pocket having a relatively low pressure among the plurality of back pressure pockets. Accordingly, oil may be smoothly supplied to a back pressure pocket having a low pressure.

    Abstract: A backpressure rotary compressor may include at least one vane, at least one vane slot configured to accommodate the at least one vane and provided with a pocket portion and a slide portion, and a backpressure passage provided with a backpressure inlet disposed in front of the at least one vane slot and a backpressure outlet formed in the pocket portion. The backpressure passage may perform a role of allowing a compression chamber and the pocket portion to communicate with each other. According to the backpressure passage rotary compressor, proper pressure may be supplied to an inner end of the vane, thereby reducing a mechanical loss caused by pressure occurring in a close contact portion between an outer end of the at least one vane and an inner circumferential surface of the cylinder, and achieving high efficiency in relation to driving a device.

    Abstract: A compressor is provided in which an outer circumferential side cross-sectional area of a vane slot is formed smaller than an inner circumferential side cross-sectional area thereof to decrease an area receiving a force in a roller direction by a vane to reduce a contact force between the roller and the vane, and a gas accommodation portion selectively forming a suction pressure and an intermediate pressure is formed between the vane and the vane slot to control the contact force. A contact surface of the vane facing the roller is formed at a side of a compression chamber to reduce the contact force, and a space forming a discharge pressure is formed at at least either one side of a side surface of the vane and a cylinder to decrease a side directional reaction force applied to the vane, thereby reducing a friction between the vane and the cylinder.

    Abstract: A compressor is provided that may include a cylinder including an outer cylinder portion and an inner cylinder portion, and a vane portion connected between the outer cylinder portion and inner cylinder portion, which is fixed to a casing. A rolling piston may be slidably coupled to the vane portion to form an outer compression space and an inner compression space while making a turning movement between the outer cylinder portion and the inner cylinder portion. Through this, a weight of a rotating body may be reduced to obtain low power loss with respect to a same cooling power and a small bearing area, thereby reducing refrigerant leakage as well as easily changing a capacity of a cylinder in an expanded manner. Moreover, refrigerant may be discharged in opposite directions in each compression space, thereby reducing vibration noise of the compressor. In addition, a back pressure groove may be formed on an upper surface of a drive transmission portion of the rolling piston, thereby reducing a friction area between the rolling piston and the upper bearing, as well as reducing a friction loss between the rolling piston and the upper bearing due to oil filled into the back pressure groove.

    Abstract: A scroll compressor is provided that may have a first sealing portion defined between an inner surface of an orbiting wrap and an outer surface of a non-orbiting wrap facing the inner surface of the orbiting wrap in a radial direction, and a second sealing portion defined between an inner surface of the non-orbiting wrap and an outer surface of the orbiting wrap facing the inner surface of the non-orbiting wrap in the radial direction. Further, sealing surfaces where the wraps facing each other are in surface-contact with each other may be formed on at least one of the first sealing portion or the second sealing portion. This may enlarge a sealing area between side surfaces of the wraps facing each other to suppress or prevent leakage of refrigerant suctioned in a compression chamber, thereby improving indicated efficiency and volumetric efficiency.

    Abstract: A vane rotary compressor includes a roller rotatably supported in a cylinder and including a plurality of vane slots formed along a circumferential direction with back pressure chambers formed at one end of each of the vane slots. A plurality of vanes are slidably supported in the vane slots protruding toward an inner circumferential surface of the cylinder. A compression space formed by the vanes between the roller and the cylinder includes an inlet port and an outlet port formed at both sides of a contact point between the roller and the cylinder. A vane positioned between the inlet port and the outlet port is configured such that a front gap between a front surface of the vane and the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder is smaller than a rear gap between a rear surface of the vane and an inner surface of the back pressure chamber.
