Abstract:
A disclosure of the present specification provides a method for transferring downlink data by a serving gateway (S-GW). The method may comprise the steps of: transmitting a downlink data notification (DDN) message to a mobility management entity (MME) and a serving general packet radio service (GPRS) supporting node (SGSN), when downlink data arrives at a wireless device in a state where an idle mode signaling reduction (ISR) is activated; receiving a message notifying of a DDN refusal from any one of the MME and SGSN when the wireless device, being in a power saving mode (PSM), cannot receive the downlink data; and transmitting a paging stop request message to any one of the MME and SGSN when the message indicating the refusal of the DDN is received.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for enabling a MTC (machine type communication) IWF (interworking function) to perform a trigger request in a wireless communication system. The method includes transferring, to a first serving node, the trigger request and information related to retrying the trigger request which includes information on whether to retry if the transferring of the trigger request fails, wherein if the information on whether to retry indicates retrying, the retrying of the trigger request is assigned to the first serving node.
Abstract:
One disclosure of the present specification provides a method for determining whether to activate an idle mode signaling reduction (ISR) capability in a network entity for managing mobility of user equipment. The method for determining whether to activate the ISR capability comprises the steps of: obtaining information related to a proximity service of the user equipment; receiving from the user equipment a location refresh request message; determining whether to activate the ISR based on ISR capability information of a network node that had been just previously in charge of the user equipment, ISR capability information of the network entity, and information related to the proximity service of the user equipment; and transmitting a location refresh acceptance message to the user equipment after the determination.
Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention is a method whereby a network node selects a packet data network gateway (P-GW) in a wireless communication system, the method for selecting a P-GW comprising the steps of: receiving, from user equipment, an attach request including information on a group; determining whether or not the attach request is a first request from the group; and selecting a P-GW to perform a policy and charging enforcement function (PCEF) on the group including the user equipment, wherein the selected P-GW is the same P-GW selected for the group in case the attach request is a third or later request from the group.
Abstract:
The present specification provides a method for performing a tracking area update (TAU) on user equipment. The method may comprise the steps of: sending a TAU request message to a target base station as user equipment moves from a source base station to the target base station; performing a service request procedure or a radio resource control (RRC) connection procedure shortly after receiving, from the target base station, information related to downlink data and/or information related to paging; and receiving a paging signal from the target base station after performing the procedure.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system and, more specifically, to a method and an apparatus for packet-switched (PS) service handover. The method for performing packet-switched service handover in a terminal of a wireless communication system according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving handover policy information from a network node; and determining whether or not to perform the PS service handover in accordance with the handover policy information. The handover policy information may include information indicating a PS service handover event.
Abstract:
In order to perform SIPTO@LN for PDN connections, MME performs: receiving, from a HeNB, information about one or more GWs, said information comprising an IP address of each local GW and at least one among APN-specific information for said one or more local GWs and/or a non-APN-specific indication for said one or more local GWs; initiating, based on subscription data and the received information about a particular local GW among said one or more local GWs, deactivation of one or more PDN connections by sending to UE a NAS Deactivate Bearer Request message indicating that reactivation is required for said one or more PDN connections; and selecting, in response to a reactivation attempt by the UE and based on said subscription data and the received information about said particular local GW, said particular local GW to allow SIPTO@LN to be performed via said particular local GW.
Abstract:
A method of controlling a backoff timer at a user equipment (UE) configured for dual priority, the method includes transmitting a non access stratum (NAS) request message without an access point name (APN) including a low priority indicator set to a first value to a network node, wherein the first NAS request message without the APN is an attach request message transmitted along with a packet data network (PDN) connectivity request without the APN; receiving a reject message for the NAS request message from the network node, and wherein a cause in the reject message is set to insufficient resources; setting the low priority indicator to a second value; and initiating a new attach procedure without the APN, while a session management (SM) backoff timer is running, wherein the first value of the low priority indicates that the UE is configured for NAS signaling low priority.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and a device for performing group communication based on a proximity service (ProSe) in a wireless communication system. More specifically, the method comprises the steps of: enabling a relay terminal (relay user equipment, relay UE, ProSe UE-to-Network relay) to register group communication in a network node; and enabling the relay terminal to perform the group communication with the network node, wherein the group communication is configured to transmit a downlink signal using a multimedia broadcast and multimedia service (MBMS) if the number of terminals, except for a relayed terminal (relayed user equipment, relayed UE) among a plurality of terminals registered in the network node, is not less than a reference value.
Abstract:
One embodiment of the present specification provides a method for selecting or reselecting a relay for a proximity service. The method comprises the steps of: receiving, by user equipment (UE) which is to receive a relay service, synchronization signals from a plurality of other UEs capable of operating as relays; and receiving, by the UE, announce messages from the plurality of other UEs capable of operating as the relays. Here, the announce messages from each of the other UEs can contain relay type information on whether to support a UE-to-network relay service, packet data network (PDN)/access point name (APN) information, and service/group information. The method further comprises the steps of: generating, by the UE, a candidate relay list on the basis of the relay type information, the PDN/APN information, and the service/group information within the announce messages received from the plurality of other UEs; and selecting or reselecting, by the UE, one of the other UEs within the candidate relay list in consideration of relay type, PDN/APN, and service/group information necessary for a service of the UE.
