Butene-1 (co)polymers characterized by the following properties: content of butene-1 units in the form of isotactic pentads (mmmm) from 25 to 55%; intrinsic viscosity [η] measured in tetraline at 135° C. from 1 to 3 dL/g; content of xylene insoluble fraction at 0° C. from 3 to 60%; and a ratio ES2/ES1>1, where ES1 is the boiling diethyl ether soluble fraction determined on the polymer as such and ES2 is the boiling diethyl ether soluble fraction determined after milling the polymer. The butene-1 (co)polymers show a good balance between processability and elastomeric behavior.

Soft polyolefin composition with improved processability comprising from 8 to 45% by weight of a polypropylene component (A), from 82 to 45% by weight of an elastomeric component (B), and from 10 to 25% by weight of a viscosity reducing agent (C) comprising polybutene-1 and paraffinic wax or grease. The composition is easily processable also by injection molding and has better tensile properties than compositions in which processability is improved by visbreaking.

The present invention relates to the use of containers comprising transparent polypropylene for packaging or storing articles from the area of clothing, sports articles, toys or home worker articles, with the containers having wall thicknesses of at least 0.8 mm, and the transparent polypropylene is a propylene homopolymer or propylene copolymer which has a haze value ≦40%, based on a thickness of polypropylene of 1 mm and measured on injection-molded test specimens, and has a tensile modulus of ≧700 MPa and a Charpy notched impact strength at 0° C. of ≧3 kJ/m2. In addition, the invention relates to containers comprising transparent polypropylene which are suitable for packaging purposes and also systems comprising containers made of a transparent polymer which are suitable for packaging or storing articles from the area of clothing, sports articles, toys or home worker articles.
