Abstract: Medical devices and related patient management systems and methods are provided. An exemplary system includes a medical device to obtain measurement values for a physiological condition in a body of a patient and a computing device to identify a plurality of event patterns within a plurality of monitoring periods based on the measurement values, prioritize the plurality of event patterns based on one or more prioritization criteria, filter the prioritized list of event patterns based on one or more filtering criteria, and generate a snapshot graphical user interface display. The snapshot graphical user interface display includes a graph overlay region having a graphical representation of the measurement values with respect to a time of day and an event detection region below the graph overlay region, where the event detection region includes pattern guidance displays for event patterns of the filtered prioritized list ordered according to the prioritization.

Abstract: In general, techniques are described for automated projection mode for switching glucose levels. A device for assisting in therapy delivery comprising a memory and a processor configured to perform the techniques. The memory may store first projected levels of glucose in a patient over a first time frame. The processor may determine an occurrence of a projection event that alters how projected levels of glucose are to be output, and automatically determine, based on the projection event, a second time frame that differs from the first time frame, The processor may also obtain a current glucose level of the patient, obtain, based on the current glucose level, second projected levels of glucose in the patient over the second time frame, and output the second projected levels of glucose for the second time frame.

Abstract: In general, techniques are described for automatic disablement of alerts for diabetic conditions. A device including a memory and a processor may be configured to perform the techniques. The memory may store alert data. The processor may obtain projected levels of glucose in a patient over a time frame, and determine whether the projected levels of glucose leave a prescribed range. The processor may generate, when the projected levels of glucose in the patient leave the prescribed range during the time frame and based on the alert data, a graphical alert indicating that the projected levels of glucose will leave the prescribed range. The processor may further determine that a maintenance event alters the projected levels of glucose, and disable, without user input and based on the determination that the maintenance event alters the projected levels of glucose, the graphical alert for a temporary period of time.

Abstract: Infusion systems, infusion devices, and related operating methods are provided. An exemplary method of operating an infusion device capable of delivering fluid to a patient involves obtaining, by a control system associated with the infusion device, measurement values indicative of a condition of the patient provided by a sensing device, identifying an event pattern based at least in part on the measurement values for the condition and historical data associated with the patient, generating a notification indicative of the event pattern in response to identifying the event pattern, and adjusting operation of the infusion device to deliver the fluid to the patient in a manner that is influenced by the event pattern in response to receiving user input confirming the event pattern.
